House Republican Whip: The biggest beneficiary of the Biden-based construction bill will be the Communist Party of China

U.S. House Minority Whip Steve Scalise (R-La.).

President Biden has proposed a $2 trillion infrastructure bill, calling it the largest “American Jobs Initiative” in more than 70 years. House Minority Whip Steve Scalise (R-La.) said the biggest beneficiary of the bill would be China (Communist Party of China), which would outsource a large number of jobs to China in the name of avoiding global warming if enacted.

In an interview with Alex Marlow, host of SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Daily on Thursday (1), Scalise said the Biden administration’s American Jobs Initiative “is ostensibly an infrastructure funding bill that will actually kill more American jobs and send more jobs to China.

“When you raise taxes …… companies start moving their jobs overseas again, just like they did a few years ago when we had high taxes, and that means we lose middle class jobs.” Scalise said the Trump administration’s reduction of corporate tax rates below the global average reverses the trend of outsourcing U.S. jobs and makes the United States a more competitive place to do business.

“The world average tax rate is 21 percent. Other countries have tax rates, they just have much lower rates. When it comes to tax policy and regulatory policy, when China is cheaper than the U.S., that’s when you start losing middle-class jobs. I don’t want to see that happen. I don’t think most people want it, but if we disguise both massive tax increases and job-killing bills as infrastructure bills, we’re going to get to that point.” Scalise continued.

Scalise emphasized that the measures Democrats are pushing on climate change – reducing and eliminating carbon dioxide emissions – provide an economic advantage to the one-party dictatorship of China because they have no such policies.

“For those who believe that mankind is destroying the planet, these policies, probably written by China (the Communist Party), because China benefits the most, will send more jobs to China and emit more carbon (CO2) in the atmosphere. How could anyone in the United States come up with such a stupid policy?” Scalise further clarified.

“When you exclude these jobs in the U.S. …… steel will be made somewhere.” Scalise added, “It’s only going to be made in China or India where they emit five times as much carbon (CO2), so you’re actually going to put more CO2 into the atmosphere.”

Scalise warned that the legislation proposed by Democrats would make China a more agreeable location for many business operations.
