Arizona hires four firms to re-examine ballots to ensure fairness in 2020 election

The Arizona Senate announced Wednesday, March 31, that they have hired four firms to audit the results of last year’s U.S. election and will recount the 2.1 million votes cast in Maricopa County, the state’s most populous county, to ensure the legitimacy of the win.

The audit will verify every area of the voting process to ensure the integrity of the vote,” the Arizona Senate said. The scope of work is not limited to scanning all ballots, but also a full manual count, audit of registration and voting, vote counts and electronic voting systems.”

The independent audit will be performed by four firms outside the state and a report on the results of the review is expected to be released in 60 days. Cyber Ninjas, a Florida-based cybersecurity firm, will lead the audit. Senate leadership will not be directly involved in the process of maintaining integrity and transparency.

The state Senate already issued a statement on March 18 saying it would be an “extensive and detailed” audit and that it would test voting machines, scan ballots, look for IT breaches and conduct vote counts. Previously, the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors had conducted two separate forensic audits, but the state Senate insisted that a separate audit by a trusted group be conducted to restore confidence in the voting system.

Under Arizona law, recounts are not allowed by state law except in rare cases, but an Arizona judge has ruled recognizing that the Senate has oversight authority, so the Senate can conduct any election review it wants.

Arizona Sen. Karen Fann sued the media, saying the request for a recount and audit is “in no way overturning the election, but is about the integrity of Arizona’s election system.

The Gateway Pundit reports that this is a courageous decision and good news for America. Arizona Republicans have more courage than all politicians. They demanded fairness in the election. May their efforts lead to the truth.
