The government’s decision to move the two graves to another location was threatened by the authorities on Feb. 28.

In March 1985, Chen Deqin’s father was beaten to death in a dispute with a neighbor, and Chen Deqin was not convinced by the conclusions of the Duchuan County Public Security Bureau and the Xinyang City Public Security Bureau that the case was not a criminal one.

Chen Deqin still wants to redress her father’s grievances, after learning that two ancestral graves were forced to relocate, she immediately called the police and asked to protect her father’s grave from being destroyed, but the police station did not give the case.
Chen Deqin: “6 o’clock, just after dawn, I heard the sound of excavators, I rushed to the scene, they have dug, deliberately to the west of my father’s grave dug, the back of my father’s grave collapsed, I went to the police station, the police station did not give me a case, I reflect this destruction of evidence. You want to start, you have to come up with forensic identification, how to deal with the Time, intentional injury, you give me as self-defense, the evidence to come out.”
In a few days is the Qingming Festival, Chen Deqin said that the ancestral graves were destroyed, is difficult to accept the mental injury.
