Dilishati added that since they were chosen by China as a tool for foreign propaganda, they could not have any right to refuse and had to act as a political show to deceive for their own safety and to protect their loved ones.
Dilishati pointed out that the Chinese government, in order to cope with international accusations, first claimed to be a so-called vocational training center and then changed its name to a teaching and training center, misleading the international community with a series of lies about the fact that concentration camps systematically destroy the Uyghurs and commit genocide.

The Chinese side said that it is successful in fighting terrorism and is afraid that journalists will meet terrorists when they go to Xinjiang.
Ilihamu mentioned that Chinese officials at the press conference vowed that these four years in Xinjiang have been successful in fighting terrorism, but then intimidated journalists by saying that terrorists do not distinguish between targets and fearing the safety of journalists going to Xinjiang for interviews.

Ilihamu believes that foreign journalists will not believe these press conferences full of lies arranged by the Chinese side, and that journalists who have spent time in China know that there is no way to write facts in China. A few years ago there was also an AFP reporter who reported on the Uighurs in China and had his residence visa revoked. The only way to write the truth is to get out of that country.
