iPad fires the American boy’s house lit up: Apple accused in court

Electronic fires seem to be happening all the Time.

Last year, according to media reports, an iPad caught fire in the Home of Michael Macaluso, a U.S. guy, and set the house on fire directly. The latest development is that the lawsuit was transferred to the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas in Pennsylvania this month and again this week to the Eastern District Federal Court.

The plaintiffs in the lawsuit argue that “the fire was caused by one or more defective electrical objects in the iPad product.

Allstate hired the law firm de Luca Levine to pursue a claim against Apple to wipe out the premium.

According to the plaintiffs, Michael Macaluso did not modify, abuse or operate the iPad beyond Apple’s expectations, and the fire was caused by a problem with the quality of the iPad itself.

In fact, this is not the first time Apple has been hit with a product fire lawsuit in the U.S. In 2019, New Jersey resident Julia Ireland Meo sued Apple, claiming that her father died in an apartment fire in February 2017 as a result of an iPad battery accident, and the case is still pending.

Earlier in 2017, WI resident Xai Thao and her insurance company sued Apple over a defective iPhone 4s battery that caused a fire, but the case eventually reached a private settlement.
