U.S. Senator Cotton: Chinese Communist Party unleashed a virus that ravaged the world and should pay for it

Cordon: CCP virus leak may have been an accident at Wuhan virus lab

The WHO will publish the results of its field investigation in Wuhan on March 31, saying that the CCP virus did not come from the Wuhan Institute of Virus, but originated from animals, to whitewash the issue of the origin of the outbreak for the CCP.

In response, Congressman Cotton said the WHO report would be a joke because the WHO team that went to Wuhan to conduct field research was not given access to the staff of the Wuhan Institute of Virus Research, nor was it given the opportunity to actually investigate. He said, “But even left-wing media outlets like the New York Times and the Washington Post acknowledge that there are very serious questions to be answered about the origins of the CCP virus.”

He went on to say that there are documents on record showing that the Wuhan Virus Institute was too loosely managed. He said, “Based on the best evidence available to us, (although this evidence may be circumstantial), we believe that the CCP virus source leak was due to an accident at the Wuhan Virus Institute.”

“While this virus could have come from animals, the biggest possibility is that the accident in the lab caused the virus to leak, because at the beginning of the outbreak, they (CCP) banned U.S. researchers and others from Wuhan from the very beginning of the outbreak to investigate and talk to local experts, and at that Time many scientists had the idea that they (CCP) were trying to hide something. “

U.S. Needs to Hold Chinese Communist Party Accountable

In response to Secretary of State Blinken’s statement that the international community need not punish the Chinese Communist Party, but should “move on” and work to build a robust system to prevent another outbreak of similar infectious diseases, Senator Cotton said the United States must hold the Chinese Communist Party accountable, either directly or indirectly.

Tens of millions of Americans had their lives completely turned upside down during the CCP virus Epidemic,” he said. They lost their jobs, their businesses closed, their loved ones passed away. I don’t think Americans are going to want to just let history turn the page and let what happened just happen for nothing. We want to break the sand and find out what really happened in Wuhan. We need to understand how the Chinese Communist Party unleashed this virus to harm the world.”

Cotton believes the U.S. should go after the CCP directly by building a case in federal court or indirectly by the U.S. standing up in the international community against the CCP’s hostility to U.S. allies, theft of U.S. intellectual property or with jobs.

He said, “The Chinese Communist Party has unleashed the worst pandemic of the century and should pay for it, whether in a direct or indirect way.”

Cotton also said the U.S. Congress should also review the relationship between U.S. scientists and research institutions and their dealings with Wuhan and the Chinese Communist Party. He said, “We don’t want to pre-screen them, but we want to be transparent with the American people on the issue of the source of the worst epidemic of the century that broke out around the world last year.”

He stressed, “What we are sure of is that it was the Chinese Communist Party that unleashed this virus on the world, that the Chinese Communist Party is responsible for it, and that we can’t let turn this page of history over, as the Biden administration would like to do, and that we need to go after the Chinese Communist Party.”
