Stalin was able to control, starve, punish and imprison the unarmed people because the people’s guns were taken away from them.

Earlier Thursday, Democratic Senators Bob Menendez and Barbara Lee introduced the Gun Records Restoration and Preservation Act (the Gun Records Restoration and Preservation Act). The legislation, signed by a number of Democrats, allows the FBI and the ATF to collect, preserve and disclose gun records to state officials and the public. It is the first step toward gun confiscation, a situation in which only criminals have guns.
This bicameral legislation would repeal the Tiahrt Amendments. The Tiahrt Amendment prohibits the ATF from publicly releasing data showing the purchase of guns by criminals and provides that only law enforcement or prosecutors have access to this information.
