Trump Statement: No wonder so much money was raised, law-abiding people have the right to do so!

The Gateway Pundit reports that President Trump issued a statement on a New York Times story insisting that he said the election was “illegal” and slamming the Supreme Court as “too wimpy.”

On Saturday afternoon, President Trump issued a statement in response to a New York Times article on fundraising by Republican and conservative groups on election reform after the 2020 presidential election. President Trump defended the fundraising, insisting that what he called the election was “illegal” and criticizing the Supreme Court’s refusal to hear cases challenging illegal changes to election laws in several swing states that Trump and many of his supporters believe effectively stole the election from him.

Trump’s statement was released by his Save America PAC.

Statement from Donald J. Trump, 45th President of the United States

The New York Times has a report today that various Republican groups, many of them prominent, are regrouping with false accusations, and that conservative activists have found that the best way to raise money and keep voters engaged is to make Donald J. Trump’s biggest fabrication – election fraud – their top priority. Sadly, elections are rigged, without even going into detail, and there are many of them, in a completely game-changing way. Democrats can’t get Republican legislatures in swing states to approve many of the voting changes that occur before an election, as mandated by the U.S. Constitution. For that reason alone, we had an illegal election. The Supreme Court and other courts are too afraid to rule that they are “too nasty” and will go down in history as such. No wonder so much money was raised on this issue, law abiding people have the right to do so!
