U.S. media exclusive: Twitter says suspension of Congresswoman Greene was “an error caused by an automated system”

National Pulse exclusively reports that Twitter claims that the suspension of Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor-Greene’s (D-CA) account was “an error caused by an automated system.

The suspension of Congresswoman Greene’s account was also linked to an attempt by House Democrats to expel the Joe State representative from Congress. However, a Twitter spokesperson attributed the suspension to an “error” caused by the platform’s “automated system.

Twitter said, “We use a combination of technology and human review to enforce Twitter rules throughout our service. In this case, our automated system took enforcement action against the incorrectly referenced account. This action has been reversed and access to the account has been restored.”

Greene’s office told National Pulse that they tried to bring the tweet to Twitter’s attention at 1 a.m. and again Friday morning, but they did not hear back until early Friday afternoon, after Greene’s account was restored.
