Continental Sifang released a profit distribution plan on the evening of March 18, which showed that cash dividends of nearly 800 million yuan (RMB, the same below) would be paid out, and the two actual controllers of the company took away 110 million yuan of the dividends, while the company’s net profit in 2020 was only 340 million.
According to the Daily Economic News on March 20, Continental Sifang’s annual report on March 18 showed that it achieved operating revenue of 3.863 billion yuan last year, up 5% year-on-year; net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company was 344 million yuan, with earnings per share of 0.43 yuan per share, up 79% year-on-year.
The company also released a profit distribution plan for 2020, with a proposed cash dividend of 9.8 yuan per 10 shares (tax included). According to the company’s current total share capital of 813 million shares, the total cash dividend will be 797 million yuan, more than twice the annual net profit of 344 million yuan.
According to the closing price of RMB7.2/share on 18th, it means a cash payout of RMB0.98 per share, with a dividend rate of 13.6%.
The latest data show that Sifang shares have more than 24,000 shareholders.
According to the annual report, the two beneficial owners of Sifang, Yang Qixun and Wang Xuzhao, directly hold 0.79% and 0.53% of the shares of the listed company respectively, and indirectly hold 8.06% and 5.02% of the shares of the listed company through Sifang Electric (Group) Co. If the dividend proposal is successfully implemented, they will get about 70 million yuan and 44 million yuan respectively, with a total amount of about 114 million yuan.
After the announcement of the profit distribution plan on the 18th, the opening of March 19, four-sided shares (601126.SH) a word up, at 7.92 yuan, as of the close of the sealed single nearly 300,000 hands.
