President Joe Biden on Thursday (18) announced at the White House that the country had reached its goal of administering 100 million doses of the new crown vaccine within 100 days of taking office ahead of schedule, again making a slip of the tongue and calling Vice President He Jinli “President He Jinli.
Biden said in a speech that the U.S. will reach its goal of administering 100 million doses of the vaccine nationwide on Friday (19) in just 58 days, and will announce the next phase of the vaccination goal next week. He called on the public to play vaccination, now ahead of schedule, confident that we can defeat the new crown Epidemic.
Biden later referred to his earlier visit to the Arizona vaccination center with He Jinli in the form of a video, but called each other the wrong president, saying, “When President He Jinli and I visited a vaccination center in Arizona not long ago, one of the nurses said that every shot administered was like a dose of hope.” Biden’s slip of the tongue caused the U.S. media to again raise questions about his mental state, he also called He Jinli wrong last December as “president-elect”.
