Russian drone maker Hoversurf has developed a “flying cab” that can carry passengers and cargo, and conducted a flight test indoors on March 16.
Hoversurf began testing its flying cab in January this year, and the test aircraft can now fly for 30 minutes at an altitude of 150 meters on a single charge, transport passengers and cargo up to 300 kilograms, and fly a distance of up to 100 kilometers at a speed of 200 kilometers per hour.
It is expected that it will be 2023 to 2025 before Russia can use the 5G network and wait for the passage of the relevant laws allowing the use of air cabs before Hoversurf’s product can enter the mass application phase.
