Jin Taizong, named Wanyan Sheng, also known as Wanyan Wu Kilbae, was the second emperor of the Golden Dynasty. This man was a stout and powerful man, able to subdue bears and capture tigers with his bare hands. If the reader is not familiar with him, must be familiar with his brother Wanyan Bone. Whether Zhao Kuangyin was poisoned by his brother Zhao Guangyi or died in his sleep has left an open case in history. During the disaster of Jingkang, Song Huizong and Song Qinzong of Zhao Guangyi’s lineage were taken away by Jin soldiers, but only King Kang Zhao Gou escaped and established the Southern Song Dynasty in Jiangnan, as Song Gaozong. Zhao Guogu had a strange dream in which Zhao Kuangyin told him the real situation of “the sound of candles and axes”. He also said that only by returning the throne to the descendants of Song Taizu could the feud be resolved.
Zhao Gu’s mother, Empress Dowager Wei, also advised Zhao Gu to pass the throne to Zhao Kuangyin’s descendants in order to end the feud that had been created when Zhao Guangyi seized the throne. In the end, Zhao Guogu passed the throne to the seventh grandson of Taizu, Zhao Y ˙ ˙ ˙ ˙ ˙ so that the throne of the Song Dynasty returned to the lineage of Zhao Kuangyin. As a result, Zhao Kuangyin was reincarnated as Wanyan Sheng to end the Northern Song dynasty he started with his own hands to avenge the hatred of Guangyi for killing his brother and seizing the throne, and this story became more and more widespread.

Gigan Sheng and his brother A Bone are like brothers, and he himself is also very wise and resourceful. Emperor Tianzuo of Liao went to the mixed river for fishing and stayed in Chunzhou. According to the custom, the chiefs of the women within a thousand miles of Liao’s territory had to go to see him. At that Time, it was the “head fish feast”, the Liao Emperor drank wine in a big cup and was very happy, so he ordered the chiefs from all over the world to dance for him. Only Ah Bone refused one after another, saying that he could not dance. The Emperor was very angry and wanted to kill him.
At that time, his younger brother, Wanyan Sheng, jumped out and performed a good trick of fighting a bear and catching a tiger, which amused the emperor and relieved his brother. The Liao Emperor finally exonerated Bonehead from the crime of disrespect.
The Emperor was beaten with a cane by a minister against corruption
In August 1123 A.D., Bonehead died of illness and Wanyan Sheng succeeded to the throne. After ascending to the throne, Wanyan Sheng improved the various systems of the Golden State. He promoted the rule of Han by Han and employed Han Chinese as officials, laying the foundation of a real dynasty for the Golden State. When Bone was alive, he made an oath with his ministers: “All the money in the treasury can only be used when there is a war. If anyone violates the oath, no matter who it is, he shall be beaten with a staff of twenty.”
In the “Record of Yan Yun”, Zhao Ziji, a royal patriarch of the Song Dynasty, recorded an incident. After Ginyan Sheng became the emperor, he was known by the prime minister, Ginyan Zong Han, because of his private use of the treasury’s belongings. Zong Han was a fierce general of Jin, a pioneer who assisted Ah Bone to conquer Song and destroy Liao.
The next day at court, the prime minister confronted King Taizong and the emperor had no choice but to admit it. Zong Han and his ministers deliberated to punish the emperor according to the oath made by the previous emperor. Since he was carrying out his brother’s last order, Taizong had no choice but to let his ministers beat and punish him. The ministers asked Taizong to get off the dragon chair and beat him with 20 sticks. After the beating, the ministers helped Taizong back to his throne and he continued to deal with the affairs of state.
In ancient times, even as an emperor, one could not do whatever one wanted. Compared with today’s democracy, the emperor and his ministers in the Jin Dynasty did no less well.
