According to AFP on March 11, IOC President Thomas Bach said the same day, will be to this year’s Tokyo Summer Olympics and the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics participants, to provide the new crown (Chinese Communist virus) vaccine purchased from China.

Bach said that the Chinese Olympic Committee has provided advice on the provision of the relevant vaccine, the IOC will also pay more costs, has been in the host country of the audience required.

The report noted that Bach’s statement that day at the 137th session of the International Olympic Committee member states, in addition to raising ethical questions such as athletes inserting themselves into the administration of vaccines, also evaded the political problems caused by the purchase of Chinese vaccines after multiple governments and human rights organizations determined that the Beijing authorities had committed genocide against Muslim minorities such as the Uighurs.

Bach said the Chinese vaccine could be obtained through international cooperation mechanisms or under mechanisms already in place in the relevant countries with the Chinese government, according to a proposal made by the Chinese Olympic Committee. But beyond that, he did not provide any more details.
