Senate passes Biden relief plan, WaPo’s mealy-mouthed tout prompts mockery

Last Saturday (6), the U.S. Senate passed a modified version of Biden‘s $1.9 trillion Communist Party of China virus (COVID-19) relief plan, and House Democrats plan to formally approve the proposal this Tuesday. The Washington Post, a left-media outlet, sent out a headline praising Biden, which sparked a strong reaction. On Saturday, The Washington Post published an “objective” story about President Biden with the headline, “Biden Stimulus Pours Money on Americans; Presidency’s Decisive Moves Have Dramatically Reduced Poverty.

The sycophancy of the report surprised a prominent Eastern European expatriate. Tatjana Pasalic, a well-known show host who grew up in what used to be the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, tweeted, “I came here from Eastern Europe hoping never to have to read such blatant propaganda again. No one is going to get out of poverty by getting a lump sum payment of $1,400.”

Pasalik’s sentiments were echoed by countless others, even Marianne Williamson, who is running in the 2020 Democratic presidential primary, fired back at the WaPo report, “Yes, it’s a decent bill. But no, it doesn’t ‘throw money at Americans,’ it doesn’t ‘dramatically reduce poverty,’ and if this is the defining move of his presidency, then we’re in real trouble.”

The wife of Kentucky Republican Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) tweeted the creepy North Korean headline. Jeff Bezos’ WaPo tells people everything is fine, keep taking drugs, watch Netflix and order from Amazon because Biden is spilling money.

Former Republican congressional candidate Jessica Taylor (D-Mass.) said, “It’s more like ‘Biden’s stimulus package has put Americans in debt and further increased poverty at the beginning of the presidency.”

Republican strategist Chris Pack (R-Texas) said, “Go take a cold shower, WaPo.”

Political commentator Stephen Miller wrote, “North Korea asks you to soften your tone a bit more.”

In addition, the story barely mentions the negative effects of the bill. Incarcerated prisoners, for example, will receive stimulus money, and federal employees will receive $21,000 in free money in addition to a $1,400 check.

At the same Time, the WaPo story ignores another fact, which is that former President Trump (Trump) gave more relief to the American people than Biden did.

This is a fact that even Minnesota’s far-left Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar (D) has acknowledged. “Obviously, we end up with fewer people on relief now than we did under the Trump Administration,” she told CNN on Friday.

“So ultimately, it’s a failure when we compromise and fail to represent the American people and fail to keep our promises.” Omar added.
