Wang Yi Refutes Genocide in Xinjiang at Two Meetings

The question of the day was sent by a reporter from the Communist Party’s Global Times. The reporter, in total disregard of the media’s supposed neutrality, directly asked, “Recently, the United States and some Western countries have falsely accused the Chinese Communist Party of ‘genocide‘ for its actions in the Xinjiang region, what do you think about this falsity? What is China’s response?”

Wang replied that it was “a complete disinformation with ulterior motives and an outright lie. Continuing the old pattern of dumping “Western anti-China politicians,” he declared that “many foreign friends who have been to Xinjiang have said that the Xinjiang they saw is completely different from the reports of individual Western media” and that “we welcome more people from all countries to visit Xinjiang. We welcome more people from all countries to visit Xinjiang. Seeing is believing, and rumors will eventually be dispelled.”

The U.S. State Department on Jan. 19 found the Chinese Communist Party guilty of “genocide” against Xinjiang’s Uighur minority and other ethnic groups, committing arbitrary arrests, deprivation of personal freedom and forced birth control since 2017, among other Crimes Against Humanity.

In response to questions at a press conference at the 4th session of the 13th National People’s Congress in mainland China today, Wang Yi said, “The so-called genocide in Xinjiang is a lie, a complete disinformation with ulterior motives and an outright lie.

The World Uighur Congress issued a statement on March 7, stressing that “lies cannot conceal the truth. The statement said that the Chinese Communist authorities’ “ulterior motives are politically motivated in an attempt to divide the international community, relieve pressure and avoid international accountability. The genocidal persecution of the Uighur people is a strategic means for China to consolidate its dominance there.

The statement noted that issues such as the closure of concentration camps and the abolition of forced labor touched on the CCP’s political bottom line, and that the so-called “delegates to the two sessions of the Xinjiang Congress” would avoid the issues and act as spokespersons for their statements in accordance with Beijing‘s political intentions, and that “the biggest role of Uighur delegates, who have no political decision-making power, is to act as so-called Uyghur delegates who do not have the power to make political decisions will have the greatest role in denouncing the allegations of genocide in the name of the so-called Uyghur delegates and responding to the media and covering up the facts according to the lies woven by China.

In its statement, the World Vision demands: “We urge the Chinese Communist Party to immediately close the camps, stop forced labor, and allow the international independent investigation mission to conduct an independent investigation on the ground without any restrictions.”

Push Friends also commented on the Global Times reporter’s question to Wang Yi, and Wang Yi’s reply: “Assholes ask eunuchs” “Many Western media and politicians do not understand that when the two sides intend to communicate and exchange, argue and defend the premise must be that both sides should have common values, otherwise it is chicken and duck talk, playing the piano to the cow. ” “For them, lying is like a Family affair and shamelessness has long been commonplace!”

Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo announced on Jan. 19, a day before the Trump administration left office, that he found the Chinese Communist Party guilty of “genocide and crimes against humanity” in the Xinjiang region. Since the Biden administration took office, the current U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken has repeatedly expressed agreement with the Trump Administration‘s policy decision.

The Canadian and Dutch parliaments passed proposals on February 22 and February 25, respectively, finding that the Chinese Communist Party committed genocide in Xinjiang.
