Gateway Pundit Review reports that earlier this week, FBI Director Chris Wray lied to the United States in testimony before the Senate, claiming that there was no evidence that Antifa members were involved in the Capitol protests. Director Wray also said there was no evidence that Antifa members posing as Trump supporters were involved in storming the Capitol. That’s another lie.
The Gateway Pundit says that federal prosecutors have a completely different standard for Trump supporters versus Antifa, when it comes to the application of the law.
Here are two cases that occurred in Washington, D.C., where two groups of people were arrested on the same day for the same gun charges. From the results, it appears that government prosecutors are inclined to drop charges against leftist groups like Antifa, while charging more people on the right who support President Trump.
In the first case, an Antifa member was arrested with a gun on Jan. 6 and charged with carrying a weapon, but was later released.
NBC News reported that Leslie Grimes and two Antifa members drove from Michigan to Washington, D.C., to participate in a demonstration during a Trump rally. According to one of Grimes’ friends, several of them wandered around, got disliked by some Trump supporters and returned to the car.
According to a video posted on Facebook, the three were surrounded by officers when they got into the car because someone reported seeing them “with weapons in the trunk.
One of the three said there were no weapons in the car, but officers found a handgun in the trunk. Grimes told officers that the gun was her own, and as a result, Grimes was charged with possession of an unlicensed firearm and taken into custody. According to Grimes’ attorney, Grimes spent the night in jail and authorities did not pursue charges. This friend of Grimes’ said he didn’t understand how the police knew there was a gun in the car.” The gun was in the trunk the whole Time,” the friend said. How did the police know? That’s just not possible.
The same day, 2 Trump supporters were arrested after telling police there was a gun in the car, but the two were not released.
NBC News reported that Charles Snell, 40, and Timothy Wolfe, 32, drove over from Virginia together to attend the Trump rally. Snell said in an interview that after a three-hour drive, he arrived in Washington, D.C., around 11 a.m., and was excited to get out of the car and take pictures at the event, wanting to “be a part of history. However, the two men were ultimately unable to attend the Trump rally.
Snell drove into a public parking lot on 12th Street, just a few blocks from the National Mall. Snell said a security guard stopped the car and asked if there were any weapons inside. Snell, a professional private security guard, had a handgun in his backpack in the back seat. Wolfe told the security guard that there was a Glock 9mm pistol with 12 rounds in the magazine. As a result, both men were arrested on charges of carrying a handgun without a license, possession of unregistered ammunition and a high-capacity feeding device.
“It’s my fault,” Snell said, “I didn’t research the specific rules before I came here, or I would never have carried a weapon.”
“I’m a security guard,” he added.” If I get convicted, I could end up losing my license.”
Snell said they carry guns only to ensure their safety while traveling to and from Washington.
This is a stunning example of the double standards and lies of our media and Washington, D.C.
FBI Director Chris Wray says there is no evidence that Antifa members were involved in the Capitol protests. At least one busload of Antifa goons infiltrated the Trump rally, according to a former FBI agent who was on the ground at the Capitol on Jan. 6.
Michael Waller, a senior analyst for strategy at the Center for Security Policy who specializes in propaganda, political warfare, psychological warfare and subversion, witnessed, at the Capitol on Jan. 6, plainclothes militants, agitators, fake Trump protesters, and disciplined, military-looking attack teams.
The Rays say there is no evidence that Antifa members posing as Trump supporters participated in the storming of the Capitol. John Earl Sullivan, a prominent Antifa leader, was arrested in Utah after the Capitol riots, and Sullivan was photographed in the Capitol, posing as a Trump supporter, with photos posted online showing him wearing a MAGA hat during the riots. All of these facts were completely ignored by the Wray Bureau and the FBI. Sullivan broke a window and stormed the U.S. Capitol in a mob level act.
Despite all reports that Antifa was indeed involved in the January 6 riots, the Rays and the leftist media continue to blame President Trump and his supporters.
It is clear that the once-powerful FBI and now Director Wray cannot be trusted.
