The footage shows an ambulance being stopped by military police, medical staff being dragged out of the car and kneeling on the ground, a group of military police kicking and beating medical staff viciously with their feet, guns, batons and other objects, the image is very violent. The video was exposed on the internet and was strongly condemned by the international community.
The Myanmar military’s brutal and bloody crackdown did not suppress the people’s will to resist, and on March 4, a large number of people took to the streets again to protest, and many others mourned the dead protesters. Videos surfaced online showing Burmese schoolchildren, protected by their teachers, taking to the streets in protest, but it was not clear when the videos were taken.
