Following the Jan. 6 riots at the U.S. Capitol, FBI Director Ray testified for the first Time before the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee on Tuesday (March 2). Director Ray told the Senate that the riots at the Capitol were “domestic terrorism” and refused to call the violent left-wing extremist group Antifa a terrorist organization; he also said there was no evidence of any “fake Trump supporters” present and no evidence that Antifa members were present at the Capitol riots. The Gateway Pundit believes this is a pack of lies and outright dangerous.
Despite media reports that Officer Sicknick was confirmed to have suffered a stroke and not to have been beaten to death, FBI Director Ray said the cause of Officer Sicknick’s death is still under investigation.
Director Ray’s thunderous lies at the hearing were let off the hook by Republicans in the Senate, which was disappointing.
Republicans.
**not a single question about the shooting of veteran Ms. Babbitt by a Capitol Police lieutenant.
Republicans.
**not one question about Trump supporters being jailed for breaking into the Capitol; **not one question about
Republicans
**no questions about the isolation and torture of Capitol Hill protesters
**did not raise the reports of Trump supporters planning to bomb the Capitol
**no mention of the terrorists who planted bombs at the Republican and Democratic headquarters in Washington, D.C.
The facts are.
Dozens of Trump supporters remain in custody on misdemeanor charges, denied bail.
Dozens or more Trump supporters, harassed at airports for attending Trump rallies in January.
The shaman with the horns on his head, who was transferred to Washington, D.C., without being allowed bail for walking through the Capitol and sitting in the House chamber. He was not the only one who got such treatment.
Greg Kelly, host of Newsmax TV, mentioned on his show that Couy Griffin, founder of Cowboys for Trump, who did not enter the Capitol, was also imprisoned and denied bail.
Griffin, a New Mexico county commissioner, never entered the Capitol, but investigators searched his social media accounts for evidence that he was in a “restricted area” of the building, meaning Griffin was near the Capitol on Jan. 6.
In September 2019, he met with President Trump at the White House, and in an interview after his arrest, Griffin told the FBI that “there was something wrong with the election. According to prosecutors and federal judges, Griffin’s real threat to society is that he dared to doubt the outcome of the 2020 presidential election.
Government lawyers believe Griffin is a flight risk and should remain in prison throughout the trial. Government lawyers also said that refusing to accept Biden as president would cause Griffin to also “defy the authority of the judicial officers appointed by the president and confirmed by the Senate.
The judge added that refusing to accept the results of the 2020 election would be like “disbelief in fact or science. So, although a federal misdemeanor, Griffin will remain in prison. American Greatness argues that Griffin is, in fact, already being treated as a political prisoner.
The American Greatness website reports that some FBI documents have referred to the protesters as “insurgents,” and that the cake of incitement charges has apparently been made. Authorities have acknowledged that minor crimes will be used to try to create larger cases against Trump allies. Acting Attorney General Sherwin warned at a Jan. 12 news conference, “We are filing some misdemeanors, but these are just the beginning. The Justice Department is looking at taking the riots that occurred at the Capitol and linking them to sedition and conspiracy charges to create major felony cases with sentences of up to 20 years.”
Acting Attorney General Sherwin said, “The scope and scale of these investigations ….. are unprecedented not only in the history of the FBI, but also in the history of the Department of Justice.” So far, more than 200 people have been charged; the FBI has described the effort to round up Trump supporters as a “24/7, full-throttle, extensive operation” and warned that agents from 56 field offices would be fully involved.
Rounded up Trump supporters are being jailed and transported to Washington. It is certain that the federal legal system responsible for prosecuting Lt. Gen. Flynn, which hates Trump, will show no mercy to Trump supporters.
