FBI Director Wray Testifies That There Is No Evidence That Antifa and Left-Wing Groups Played a Role in the Congressional Riots

Gateway Pundit reports that FBI Director Christopher Wray says there is no evidence that Antifa and left-wing groups played a role in the Jan. 6 congressional riots.

Disgraced FBI Director Christopher Wray testified before the U.S. Senate on Tuesday, his first testimony since the Jan. 6 riots at the U.S. Capitol, the report said.

Ray said there was no evidence of “fake Trump supporters” at the U.S. Capitol.

Under questioning from Democratic Senator Leahy (D-Vt.), Director Ray also said there was no evidence that left-wing groups or Antifa played a role in the congressional riots.

So far, Ray has barely acknowledged the existence of Antifa, and he struggled to say the “A” word during Tuesday’s hearing.

Ray said, “We have not seen any evidence to date that violent anarchist extremists or pro-Antifas have anything to do with the 6th,”

Ray’s testimony contradicts that of former Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund and other witnesses who were on the scene at the Capitol on Jan. 6.

Last Tuesday, former Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund dropped a “bombshell” in his opening statement to lawmakers at a Senate Rules and Homeland Security Committee hearing.

Mr. Sander testified that according to intelligence gathered by law enforcement groups, members of the Proud Boys, white supremacist groups, Antifa and other extremist groups are expected to attend on Jan. 6, and they may be violent.

According to a former FBI agent who was on the ground at the U.S. Capitol, at least one busload of Antifa goons infiltrated the Trump rally as part of a “false flag operation,” or planting operation.

Michael Waller, senior analyst for strategy at the Center for Security Policy, said he witnessed the scene at the Capitol on Jan. 6:

  1. plainclothes militants: radicals in Donald Trump and MAGA gear at the front cordon at the base of the interim presidential inauguration platform.
  2. Fishing for law enforcement operatives: scattered groups of men urged marchers to gather tightly toward the center outside the Capitol and prevented them from leaving.
  3. fake Trump protesters: several anti-Trump or MAGA hat wearing young men whose actions and demeanor were so out of character with the rest of the crowd that I presumed they were Antifa or other leftist agitators.
  4. a disciplined, uniformed group of attackers: an organized, disciplined line of people wearing similar but not identical camouflage and black gear, some with helmets and GoPro cameras, some wearing “punisher skull” patches.

John Earl Sullivan, the famous Antifa rebel leader, was arrested in Utah after the U.S. Capitol riots.

Antifa protester John Sullivan was photographed posing as a Trump supporter during the U.S. Capitol riots on Jan. 6.

Despite all reports indicating Antifa’s role in the Jan. 6 riots, Ray and the media continue to blame President Trump and his supporters.
