Infections increase fivefold! CDC: Variant virus fears major outbreak (Figure)

CDC director Valensky said on the 1st that everyone should beware of the seriousness of the Variant virus.

The United States new coronavirus cases, recently increased significantly; the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) said that the variant virus may become a common source of infection in April, fearing that the authorities accelerate vaccination to slow the spread of the variant virus efforts to forego; National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Director (NIAID) Fauci (Anthony Fauci) said that the daily confirmed cases stopped at 70,000 without slowing down worrying, super virus transmission may cause another wave of outbreak.

According to statistics, the February 28 notification of a record-breaking 306 cases of the new coronavirus, most of which are now concentrated in three states, including Florida added 104 cases, Michigan added 85 cases and Texas added 41 cases.

The virus that is currently showing up in the U.S. is mostly the “B.1.1.7” variant that was first identified in the U.K. This virus may become the main source of infection in April.

After a peak in January, the overall diagnosis curve of the new crown slowed down in February, but there are signs that the Epidemic may climb again; on February 28, in many states, the number of confirmed cases increased again since the epidemic slowed down for several weeks or even a month.

Fauci 28 accepted the “Cable News Network” (CNN) program “State of the Union” (State of the Union) interview, said the existing vaccine can still play a high performance on the variant virus.

In response to the increase in cases caused by the prevalence of variant strains, CDC Director Rochelle Walensky called for “an assessment of the extent to which Variant viruses are currently spreading, and we may be losing ground.”

She said the number of confirmed diagnoses has continued to decline over the past few weeks, with a 2 percent increase last week compared to previous weeks, and “the number of seven-day illnesses also increased by 2 percent, coming to nearly 2,000 per day.”

Varensky called on states that have relaxed their precautions to continue to avoid the epidemic and encouraged people to get vaccinated, “Vaccines are going to be the way to get us out of this epidemic, and we have to get more people vaccinated before we get there.”

Fauci interviewed by the CBS program “Face the Nation” (Face the Nation), said: “We have seen the consequences of lifting the vaccination measures when they are not pure. We’ll beat the virus, but we haven’t succeeded yet.”

The number of confirmed cases of new infections in the United States increased by 75,194 on Feb. 26, compared to a weekly average of about 69,000 cases.

“We understand the need and the desire of the population to return to normalcy because the epidemic has improved a little bit.” Fauci said, “But we must keep the baseline lower, especially as the variant virus spreads in California and New York, we must be more vigilant.”
