In response, Zhan said on February 25 through his Weibo account that he had sexually harassed about five women, “Please give me a chance to change. I will do what I say and correct this mistake.”
On Feb. 24, the Star’s Edge Mountain Breeze team issued an announcement saying that the team’s creator, Jen Want, had been expelled from the team for harassing multiple women.
The announcement said, “Although it is very painful, this matter must be announced. The founder of the team, Zhan wanted to harass a number of girls on the team, including bad behavior such as waiting for an opportunity to touch sensitive parts in public. Because of Zhan’s consistently positive image and the difficulty of talking about this matter, the victims have remained silent. In response to the netizen’s report, Zhan wanted to respond in his personal certified Weibo post on February 25, saying that from about 2013 to the present, he had “sexually harassed about five women (this is the result of my efforts to recall, not excluding those who really can’t remember) during several outdoor stargazing and other activities.”
Jen wanted to say that he took a serious chance, thinking that the victims might think it was an unintentional touch or that they were too weak to speak up, so there were times when the harassing actions were more obvious.
