Former U.S. President Donald Trump is still the focus of attention, a number of foreign media recently released the poll results show that Trump fans have always been there, even if Trump decided to create a third party, but also do not hesitate to follow.
USA TODAY and Suffolk University released a joint poll on the 21st, finding 1,000 supporters who voted for Trump in the U.S. presidential election last year to do the poll. The results show that 46%, nearly half of the Republicans said that if Trump intends to create a new party in the future, they will abandon the Republican Party and follow Trump; only 27% of the Republicans decided to stay with the Republican Party, the rest of the people have not yet decided.
Meanwhile, earlier this month, British pollster YouGov released another poll showing that 33 percent of Republicans who participated in the survey said they would be willing to join Trump to create a party separate from the Republican Party; another 37 percent said they would “maybe” join Trump’s new party.
In a recent poll by Hill-HarrisX, 64 percent of Republicans said they would either definitely join or probably join the Trump-led “MAGA Party” or the “Patriot Party).
In addition, nearly half of the poll participants believe that the Republican Party needs to be more “loyal” to Trump, even if this may lose the support of the conservative wing of the party; 19% of the public opposed.
In this regard, a Republican businessman from Milwaukee, engaged in small business, accused in an interview: “We don’t feel the will of the Republican Party to fight for each other, yet Trump is standing up for his supporters day and night, as much as he can,” exclaiming: “The Republican Party The establishment will only nod to the Democratic Party establishment, they simply will not fight back.”
