Xi Jinping shouted “can’t afford to lose” analysis: some people dig four big holes for Xi

Some analysts believe that the “deep government” within the Chinese Communist Party has been Xi’s biggest “nightmare” and has dug at least four big holes for him.

Xi Jinping recently shouted at the fifth plenary session of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, saying that the fight against corruption is a “political struggle that cannot be lost. The party media said that some corrupt elements are trying to steal power from the party and the state. Some analysts believe that the “deep government” within the CCP has been Xi’s biggest “nightmare” and has dug at least four big holes for him.

Not long ago, many departments of the Chinese Communist Party jointly issued a “notice on strengthening the supervision of the general election style”, listing the “ten prohibitions”: including strictly forbidden to associate with the party and camp, strictly forbidden to canvass for votes and bribe elections, strictly forbidden to buy and sell officials, strictly forbidden to run for officials, strictly forbidden to have personal say, etc.

The Chinese University of Hong Kong History Department visiting professor Lin He Li said in an interview, 2021 the beginning of the Chinese Communist Party issued the “ten forbidden”, and Xi layout of the 20th National Congress in 2022. This is a further consolidation of Xi’s power, as Beijing officials generally believe that Xi will stay in office at the 20th National Congress. Xi is the core of the Communist Party, but he is also afraid because some officials have criticized him.

At the fifth meeting of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection on January 22, Xi Jinping said that “political corruption” is the biggest threat to the party and that the fight against corruption is a “political battle that cannot be lost.

On Jan. 23, Xinhua News Agency published an article saying, “Political corruption is the biggest corruption. Some corrupt elements have formed interest groups in a vain attempt to steal power from the party and the state”.

Some analysts believe that, to put it bluntly, someone is trying to take Xi Jinping’s power. Xi has publicly said that there are people in the party who want to take away his power and he wants to get rid of them by catching “political corruption”.

On Jan. 28, Xi presided over a meeting of the Politburo and asked the Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI) to step up efforts to combat corruption and strengthen supervision of the leadership team at all levels and the key minority, especially the “handlers.

On February 2, an article on the official website of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection said that 5,836 “handlers” above the county level had been filed for review in 2020.

In an article written by commentator Wang Youqun, Xi launched an anti-corruption campaign against the tigers in early 2013. By the end of 2018, Xi had “achieved an overwhelming victory in the fight against corruption”. In fact, the CCP’s anti-corruption campaign has not achieved an “overwhelming victory” at all, as Jiang Zemin and Zeng Qinghong, the chief backstage of the CCP’s corrupt elements, are still at large, and the “big tree” of corruption has not fallen. The “big tree” of corruption has not fallen, but the “rats” have not been dispersed.

According to Wang Youqun, the “deep government”, “shadow government” and “Beijing swamp” led by Jiang and Zeng have become Xi’s biggest “nightmare”. The “shadow government” and the “Beijing swamp” led by Jiang and Zeng have become Xi’s biggest “nightmare. So far, they have dug at least four big holes for Xi to jump into.

One, the cult of the individual. They have sung Xi’s praises and blown him into a frenzy. The people who “hailed” Xi were Liu Yunshan, a close associate of Jiang and Zeng and a member of the 18th CPC Standing Committee, and Wang Huning, a close associate of Jiang and Zeng and a member of the 19th CPC Standing Committee in charge of propaganda.

Second, the NPC amended the constitution in the two sessions in 2018 to abolish the term limit for the president of the country. This move sparked an uproar at Home and abroad, and criticism has subsided so far. Xi agreed to the move because he had offended too many people in his anti-corruption fight against the tigers and feared that someone would look for him to settle the general score after he stepped down.

Xi thought the constitutional amendment would allow him to serve for Life and thus ensure the safety of him and his Family. However, this move has not made much practical sense, except for the fact that it has brought Xi a lot of scorn. Who came up with this idea? Probably Wang Huning, the “deep government’s” most important confidant at Xi’s side, who is known as the “Third Dynasty State Counselor.

Third, Xi was given control over everything, and if anything goes wrong, Xi is responsible. Some reports say Xi has more than 10 titles and counting, so much so that some call him the all-powerful president.

Wang Youqun said that after the 19th Communist Party Congress, Xi has taken on more and more positions, seemingly taking the reins of power, but actually being overwhelmed with work, so much so that relations between the United States and China have deteriorated, “one country, two systems” in Hong Kong has been destroyed, and “one country, two systems” to reunify Taiwan has become a bubble. …… The people’s discontent is boiling, and the crisis is all around, allowing Xi to play a good hand of cards to the ground, and then put the blame on Xi’s head, which may be another “big hole” dug for Xi.

Fourth, the “deep government” of the Chinese Communist Party has placed many cronies around Xi. In the 8 years since Xi came to power, the top military and political officials of the Beijing garrison have changed 7 people, the commander has changed 4 and the political commissar has changed 3. Xi does not trust anyone.

On Feb. 10, the Chinese Communist Party held a New Year’s reunion, and a group of black-clad men were actually arranged around Xi, specifically to monitor the various high-ranking officials attending the meeting. Xi’s insecurity is well known to the world. It is foreseeable that in 2021, anti-Xi forces will continue to use “cult of the individual” and “monopoly of power” as excuses to attack Xi, and Xi will continue to purge his opponents in the name of anti-corruption.

Wang Youqun said Xi’s statement that he could not afford to lose in the fight against corruption shows that Xi is aware of the imminent danger, but he does not realize what the root cause of the danger is, as the four “big pits” mentioned above are the result of Jiang, Zeng and their cronies taking advantage of Xi’s The four “big holes” mentioned above were dug by Jiang, Zeng and their cronies to take advantage of Xi’s “party protection” complex. If Xi continues to protect the party, he will be trapped in a big hole and will eat his own consequences.
