On “The Five,” Gutfeld took a moment to address a range of foreign policy issues that President Trump has implemented and that Biden has not inherited.
“Biden’s new mantra, rather than ‘America first,’ is ‘America, you’re not all there is,’ or ‘America, not me, you,’ because in a sense, Joe Biden is breaking up with the American public in favor of a hot new alien partner – the globe.” Gutfeld said, “It’s very inviting, it comes with an accent, it’s cosmopolitan, makes you feel like a cosmopolitan when you can fly all over the place. But I’m sorry, America, Biden’s just not so much like you anymore.”
Gutfeld went on to say that the media has helped promote the narrative that Trump’s foreign policy is taking America “off the stage,” making it not only smart but necessary for Biden to systematically undo everything Trump has done.
Gutfeld noted that Obama had warned Trump that North Korea was the biggest problem he would face.
Gutfeld asked: “Biden enters this picture and is never asked about North Korea. Why is that?”
He said, “Because it’s not an issue. Who made that not an issue? A guy named Trump.”
“He took out an Iranian general who killed a lot of people, he took out some terrorists. He’s got a pretty impressive foreign policy resume, and I think the media pretends it’s bad because he’s an outsider who’s kicked insider’s ass.”
Gutfeld went on to say that Trump exposed people like former Secretaries of State Hillary Clinton and John Kerry as “incompetent charlatans.
