US author: Biden justifies Chinese Communist atrocities, world will be in crisis

Renowned American author Thomas Del Beccaro wrote an article Wednesday (Feb. 17) rebuking Biden for recently defending the atrocities of the Chinese Communist Party at a CNN-hosted public dialogue session with the public. He said Biden’s comments would comfort the Chinese Communist Party and the world’s dictators, and push the world into danger.

Beccaro is a well-known author, speaker, former chairman of the California Republican Party and a columnist for Fox News and Fox Business News. He is the author of the books The Divided Era and The New Conservative Paradigm, which deal with historical perspectives.

A translation of Beccaro’s article follows.

Recently, I wrote that the world would “live dangerously under Joe Biden’s rule for four years. In short, Biden is not physically or mentally fit for the job of president.

By justifying the Chinese Communist regime’s atrocities against the Uighurs as part of a “different norm,” Biden could plunge the world into an international crisis sooner than any of us can imagine.

In 1968, historian Will Durant wrote in his Lessons of History, “War is one of the constants of history and has not diminished with civilization or democracy. Of the last 3,421 years of recorded history, only 268 have been free of war.” Sadly, since that Time, there have been wars every year around the world.

No matter how comfortable Americans live, in every era there have been barbaric regimes that have tried to rule their people as well as the surrounding, and even more, areas.

China (Communist) is one such country. The New York Post recently reported, “The U.S. State Department has expressed deep dismay at a report. The report claims that Muslim women are systematically raped, sexually abused and tortured in the Chinese Communist Party’s re-Education camps where millions of Uighurs are held.”

While the United States cannot correct every atrocity, none of them should be tolerated. America desires freedom for all, so our Commander-in-Chief should state sternly that no atrocity is excusable or tolerated.

Beyond that, the government should use at least diplomatic and economic means to counter those atrocities. Military intervention, while a last resort, must not be abandoned.

For Chinese (communist) countries that allow live organ harvesting, military intervention is not an option against these atrocities. But there must be clear determination, as well as diplomacy and sanctions.

All of this brings us to Biden’s statements about China and the Uighurs. In a lengthy and disorganized question-and-answer session on national television, Biden began by defending the abuses committed by the Chinese Communist Party by saying.

“If you know anything about Chinese history, it’s always been that the time when China was bullied by the outside world was when they weren’t unified at Home …… So Xi’s core principle is that there must be a unified, tightly controlled China. He’s acting on his own ideas like that.”

Biden added, “Culturally, each country and its leaders should follow different norms.”

Atrocities are not reasonable norms, and prior transgressions do not excuse current atrocities.

Biden’s remarks may be the worst foreign policy mistake since Secretary of State Dean Acheson’s speech to the National Press Club on Jan. 12, 1950. In that speech, he “defined the U.S. ‘defense perimeter’ in the Pacific as a line through Japan, the Ryukyus and the Philippines. This precluded any assurance that the United States would provide military protection to South Korea.”

Soon after, North Korea invaded South Korea in June 1950, and the world was plunged into the Korean War. Many believe that Atchison’s statement that areas of U.S. concern (such as defending the border) did not include today’s South Korea gave the green light for North Korea to invade South Korea with the support of the Chinese Communist Party and Russia.

Biden’s comments reassured the Chinese Communist Party that the United States would not interfere with its domestic atrocities. The language will also reassure every dictatorship in the world, such as Iran and Russia, to no avail, whether or not the Biden Administration issues a statement clarifying it in the coming days and weeks.

God only knows how Biden’s green light will allow those dictators to act. On the other hand, the world now knows how weak Biden is.

The lesson of history is that wars begin because of the weakness of the enemy, and that is why the world will live dangerously under Biden’s rule.
