Biden revokes 65 Trump executive orders, jeopardizing national security

Joe Biden Since taking office on Jan. 20, Joe Biden has rescinded 65 of former President Trump‘s executive orders in less than a month, many of which dealt with critical national security and immigration matters. These actions by Biden could pose a national security risk to the United States

According to a Feb. 15 report in the Washington Free Beacon, some of the executive orders Biden rescinded were originally issued by President Trump to restrict immigration to protect American jobs; Biden also rescinded the Trump Administration‘s regulation of how the Communist Party’s Confucius Institute could operate on U.S. campuses. A number of other Trump executive orders, still under review and not yet formally implemented, were also axed by the Biden Administration.

Biden rescinded a Department of Homeland Security regulation that originally prohibited foreign nationals with deportation orders from working in the United States. Under the Biden administration’s law now, foreign nationals released from detention can also seek legal employment in the United States. A proposed executive order by President Trump to eliminate overly broad employment policies and increase job protections for U.S. workers – has now been rescinded by Biden.

Republican U.S. Senator Ronny Jackson of Texas (R-Texas), who is a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, said he would not be able to support the proposed executive order. Ronny Jackson (R-Texas) slammed Biden’s revocation of the Trump-era rule as “disheartening” and “despicable.

Jackson said, “Overshadowing the hypocrisy of the left, President Biden’s immigration regulations are both frustrating and predictable. In less than a month, the Biden administration has repealed common-sense immigration policies simply because they are relevant to President Trump. Clearly, Democrats are not serious about bipartisanship. Reckless legislative attempts that divide the two parties are not conducive to effective policymaking and, by extension, the American people.”

Robert Law, director of regulatory affairs and policy at the Center for Immigration Studies, said. Robert Law, director of regulatory affairs and policy at the Center for Immigration Studies, said the reversal of the Trump Executive Order marks a reversal of the radicalism in Biden’s forthcoming immigration agenda, a reversal that hurts both U.S. Security and the U.S. economy.

Law said, “It’s very clear that the Biden administration, through its various political appointments, has no moderate policy at all in the direction of immigration policy that they are pursuing.”

The Biden administration also vetoed another proposed Trump administration immigration order that would have eliminated the ability of certain visa holders to be employed in the United States.

Again without any consultation with Congress, the Biden administration and Democrats have also overturned other legislative actions taken by President Trump to secure the border. For example, the Biden administration on Feb. 11 rescinded a national emergency declaration by President Trump in which the Trump White House could allocate funds to build a southern border wall.

U.S. Rep. Jim Banks (R-Ind.), a member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Indiana, said the president’s declaration of a national emergency was lifted on Feb. Banks (Jim Banks) said the Biden administration’s actions hurt the U.S. economy while giving “privileged treatment” to illegal immigrants.

Banks said sarcastically, “The U.S. labor market is already tight, and thanks to Biden, U.S. citizens now have to compete with large numbers of illegal immigrants. Stimulus checks, vaccines, no threat of deportation – aside from income taxes, it’s hard to see what Biden’s actual constituents are getting that the illegals aren’t getting. The only point of this privileged treatment, that is if Biden wants to count on them to help (vote) in 2024 (election).”

Biden also rescinded an order by President Trump to counter Chinese Communist infiltration that required disclosure of any agreements made between U.S. schools and Confucius Institutes. The Confucius Institutes are run by entities affiliated with China’s Communist Party that peddle Communist influence and spy on Chinese students on U.S. campuses. Last year, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo (R-Texas) said that the Confucius Institutes are not a part of the Chinese Communist Party. Mike Pompeo designated the Confucius Institute as a “foreign mission” acting on behalf of the Chinese Communist Party. Biden’s reversal will relieve pressure and accountability on U.S. schools that have signed contracts with the Confucius Institute.

Republicans have slammed the reversal for its impact on U.S. national security. U.S. Rep. Mike Gallagher, R-Wisconsin, said the reversal would have a negative impact on national security. Mike Gallagher (R-Wisconsin) warned that the Chinese Communist Party sees U.S. universities as a major battleground with Beijing, and that a tougher look at the Communist Party’s influence is needed, not an avoidance of oversight.

Gallagher told the Washington Free Beacon, “American universities are the front lines of our competition with the Chinese Communist Party. As the CCP seeks more avenues than ever to influence the direction of U.S.-China Policy, we should do everything we can to expose their funding arrangements in the United States.”

U.S. Rep. Joe Wilson (D-S.C.), a member of the U.S. House of Representatives from South Carolina, also said that the Chinese Communist Party is seeking to influence the direction of U.S.-China policy more than ever. Joe Wilson, R-S.C., also warned that the Communist Party’s “foreign propaganda” threatens U.S. Education, and he plans to reintroduce an initiative to weaken Biden’s hold on the Confucius Institute.

American students and families deserve to know where their education is being funded, especially when the source of funding is a foreign government,” Wilson said. Confucius Institutes at universities and partnerships with K-12 schools (meaning elementary through high schools) (meaning Confucius Classrooms) often do not publicly disclose their contracts or funding amounts. Reversing this executive order is allowing these foreign advocacy missions to continue to operate in the dark and abdicating the responsibility to have universities report on these partnerships.”
