Former U.S. first lady denounces media for spreading false information about her

Recently, former First Lady Melania Trump‘s office criticized as an “unhealthy hobby” the eagerness of some U.S. mainstream media outlets to spread false gossip and negative news about the former First Lady even after she became a private citizen.

CNN previously reported on former President Trump’s daily Life with hidden sources and quoted allegedly informed sources discussing Melania’s practices during Trump’s second impeachment, which ended on Feb. 13. In response, Melania’s office condemned it.

Melania’s office tweeted: “Melania is no longer the First Lady, but now an ordinary citizen, a mother and a wife. The source of this article has no connection to her and knows nothing about her personal life or thoughts, but CNN chose to publish a false tidbit of information, a report that shows that the American media This story demonstrates the American media’s unhealthy penchant for reporting negative news about Melania.”

Melania’s office also retweeted a tweet from Amy Kremer, founder of Women for Trump, in which Kremer questioned, “Why did Washington reporter Kate Bennett Why would Washington reporter Kate Bennett write an article attacking Melania when she’s already out of the White House and ready to live as a private citizen?” and urged the U.S. mainstream media to be reasonable and let Melania live her life.

Melania, who set up a private office for the former first lady on Feb. 12, informed supporters that they should follow her official Twitter account for information. Melania also released a video on Jan. 18 saying she felt honored to be the first lady of the United States.
