U.S. lawmakers want to hold Tandusse accountable for opposing the WHO report on the origin of the virus

Republican Senators Rick Scott and Josh Hawley (R-Texas) introduced the “World health Organization Accountability Act” on Feb. 9, holding the WHO and its leader, Ted Tam, accountable for helping the Chinese Communist Party cover up information about the threat of the coronavirus (CCP).

On Tuesday (Feb. 9), the WHO released its first report on the investigation of the CCP virus (Wuhan pneumonia), declaring that the source of the virus was unlikely to be a Wuhan lab leak and abandoning further investigation. A number of U.S. senators’ harshly criticized the WHO as a puppet of the Chinese Communist Party and reiterated that the virus originated in China.

The senators also introduced a bill to hold WHO Secretary General Ted Tam and other leaders accountable.

Peter Ben Embarek, WHO Food safety and animal disease expert and chair of the investigation team, dismissed the theory that the virus was leaked from the Wuhan Institute of Virology at a press conference, claiming that such a hypothesis is “highly unlikely” and not recommended for future research. He further stated that the “most likely” pathway for the CCP virus to enter humans is through crossover of intermediate species.

Senator Rick Scott, Republican of Florida, tweeted that the WHO is acting as a puppet of the CCP, helping to spread misinformation and inaction in the face of the COVID-19 threat. This is inexcusable and they must be held accountable.

Scott and Senator Josh Hawley (D-N.Y.) introduced the WHO Accountability Act on February 9, holding the World Health Organization and its leader, Ted Tamsay, accountable for helping the Chinese Communist Party cover up information about the coronavirus threat. The bill would hold the World Health Organization and its leader, Ted Tam, accountable for helping the Chinese Communist Party cover up information about the threat of coronavirus.

Time and time again, the WHO has put the promotion of the Chinese Communist Party’s interests ahead of building world health,” Hawley said. Dr. Tandusse and other WHO leaders must be held accountable for this dereliction of duty, and the WHO must be overhauled before it can once again benefit from U.S. tax dollars.”

Scott said, “Not only has WHO failed in its mission, but it has also set the world up for failure when it comes to the coronavirus (Chinese Communist virus). They acted as puppets of the Chinese Communist Party – falsifying misinformation and helping the Chinese Communist Party cover up the global pandemic.”

“Last February, I called on the World Health Organization to conduct an in-depth analysis of the scope and source of the coronavirus (CCP virus). It took them almost a year to act, but we still don’t have answers. They have even abandoned the investigation into whether COVID-19 leaked from the Wuhan lab. There are serious consequences to their inaction.” Scott said.

Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Texas) was one of the first U.S. politicians to suggest that the Chinese Communist virus might have leaked from the Wuhan lab. He tweeted Tuesday, “The virus originated in China, then the Chinese Communist Party tried to hide information from the rest of the world and manipulate the global response.”

For more than a year, he said, Chinese Communist Party apologists WHO have tried to deflect the origin of the coronavirus, the Chinese Communist virus. In the early days of the outbreak, the organization said there was no evidence of human-to-human transmission and also opposed (U.S.) border closures and travel bans.

Taiwan, one of the most successful regions in dealing with the virus, was excluded from the WHO meeting because of pressure from Beijing, Cotton said. This political game has deadly consequences. The world (against the Epidemic) would be much better prepared if Taiwan were included in the discussion sooner.

He said it is time to discard the Chinese Communist Party’s WHO recommendations and listen to impartial experts so we can defeat the virus.

Cotton also questioned why WHO is now relying on WHO’s “food and safety” experts to determine the origin of COVID-19 if WHO has the world’s leading health and safety experts. He was suggesting that Embarek.

In his press release on the WHO Accountability Act, Scott also said that the WHO Accountability Act requires the U.S. to suspend taxpayer funding of the WHO until the WHO changes leadership and accepts Taiwan as a member.

U.S. Rep. Dan Bishop (D-CA) also refuted the WHO’s conclusion. He tweeted that this is another reason why appeasing the Chinese Communist Party (#China) is a bad idea. “We need an independent investigation, not CCP (#CCP) propaganda.”
