As allegations of election fraud continue to emerge across the nation, the Trump campaign is pursuing litigation in key swing states, OAN reported Nov. 11.
In a conference call on Tuesday, Matt Morgan, an attorney for the Trump campaign, told reporters that the team has filed a lawsuit to stop Michigan from certifying its election results until it can verify that the ballots were legitimate.
Earlier, a vote count in Shiawassee County, Michigan, suddenly showed Democratic nominee Joe Biden leading President Donald Trump by 200,000 points. Officials later chalked it up to a “typing error”.
White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany said, “Only one party in America is opposed to voters needing (to show) ID (to vote); only one party in America is opposed to verifying signatures, citizenship, residency, eligibility. There is only one party in the United States that tries to exclude observers from the counting room, and that party, my friend, is the Democratic Party.”
McEnany recently said on the air that she has 234 pages of affidavits alleging election irregularities in Wayne (Wayne) County, Michigan. She said officials reported a number of ballots in which 60 percent of the signatures on a batch of ballots were the same. In addition, there were 35 ballots that had no voter records, but were still counted.
Meanwhile, in Erie, Pennsylvania, U.S. Postal Service (USPS) whistleblower Richard Hopkins is battling federal agents and the mainstream media to maintain his claim that illegal postmarks were added to some late mailed ballots.
Hopkins came forward, but was tried by U.S. Postal Inspector General Russell Strasser to coerce him into saying his story was fabricated. In addition to this, the Washington Post published an article stating that Hopkins has officially retracted his story.
In response, Hopkins posted a video online saying that he never retracted his story, that the Washington Post’s story was false, and that they should retract their story.
President Trump later praised Hopkins on Twitter, while calling him a “brave patriot”.
Since election night, the Trump campaign has filed lawsuits in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Nevada and Georgia, with several lawsuits still pending.
