Harvard authoritative astronomer: alien civilization has come to the solar system

The discovery of intelligent extraterrestrial Life would undoubtedly be the most disruptive event in human history, but what if the scientific community decided to collectively ignore the evidence that an extraterrestrial civilization has already visited?

Avi Loeb, a leading American astronomer, has proposed this hypothesis in his new book. 2017 saw the rapid passage of an unidentified interstellar object through our solar system, and Loeb argues that the object has highly unusual characteristics, the simplest and best explanation being that it belongs to extraterrestrial technology.

Sound crazy? Robb says that despite the evidence at hand, his colleagues in the scientific community are too immersed in collective thinking to consider the “Occam’s razor principle” – that the fewer assumptions a theory uses, the more likely it is to be close to the truth.

Robb, the longest-serving head of Harvard’s astronomy department, has published hundreds of seminal papers and worked with giants like the late physicist Stephen Hawking, so Robb’s claims are hard to shoot down directly.

It would be arrogant to think that we are unique, special and honored,” Robb told AFP in the video. The right thing to do is to be humble and admit that we are not special at all, that there are many other civilizations out there and we just need to find them.

In his new book “Extraterrestrial: The First Sign of Intelligent Life Beyond Earth,” Rob, 58, explains how the 2017 object called “Oumuamua” (in Hawaiian) The argument for an extraterrestrial origin.

In October 2017, astronomers observed an object moving at such a high rate of speed that it could only have come from another planet; it was the first recorded interstellar intruder.

Repulsors do not look like ordinary rocks, because normally, due to the Sun’s gravity, objects accelerate sharply when they approach the Sun and are thrown off to the other side, and then their speed decreases as they pass the Sun. But “Repulse” has signs of acceleration when it crosses the sun, so obviously it has some kind of thrust in addition to the influence of the sun’s gravity.

This would not be difficult to explain if it were a comet releasing gas and debris, but strangely enough, there is no visible evidence such as a comet tail.

Scientists have observed from the telescope that the “Repulsor” changes from bright to dark, and has been observed to be unusually bright, which may mean that it is made of shiny metal.

To explain the many anomalies, astronomers have come up with some novel theories, such as that the “Repulsor” is made of hydrogen ice, so there would be no visible comet tail, or that the tail has broken down into a dust cloud.

These explanations for the unique characteristics of the scourge are all unheard of,” says Robb. Why not consider it man-made in the first place?

During its brief stay in the solar system, Robb said, the Repulsor was never photographed at close range, “and we only discovered its existence when it was about to leave the solar system.

There are two observations of the shape of the Scout: one is long and thin like a cigar, and the other is flat and round like a muffin, but thin like a razor blade. In his simulations, Robb favors the latter and believes it was designed to be a light sail powered by stellar radiation.

Robb’s claim that the “scout” was high-tech from an alien civilization made him an “outlier” among his peers. Astrophysicist Ethan Siegel, writing as a “once-respected scientist,” was clearly unimpressed with Robb. But Robb argues that academia has a tradition of “bullying” those who question orthodoxy, as Galileo was punished when he suggested that the Earth was not the center of the universe, but that the truth will eventually do justice.

He also believes that the discovery of intelligent extraterrestrial life can give people a “sense of being in the same boat” in the face of various threats.

Instead of confronting each other, as nations often do, they might try to cooperate.
