U.S. media reported on Feb. 6 that Biden took off from Washington, D.C., to Delaware on Air Force One on Friday, and left-wing Hollywood singer Cher said she couldn’t help but cry after the flight.
“President Joseph Biden Jr.’s Air Force One just took off,” the “Dark Lady” singer told her 3.8 million Twitter followers. “I’m laughing and tearing up,” she added, thanking God.
On Friday, Biden left the nation’s capital to spend Time with his Family in Delaware, the first time he has left the District of Columbia since taking office.
Cher, who has often complained about Trump on Twitter and served as a cheerleader for Biden during his presidency, was there to stump for Biden less than two weeks before last year’s presidential election in Las Vegas, Nevada.
She told attendees in Las Vegas, “I’ll sing, and then I’ll wave goodbye, and that’s it.” She identified truth and honesty as two of Biden’s “great traits.
