Recently, Geely Holdings released an announcement on the change of legal representative, board members and senior management.
The announcement shows that Geely Holdings has completed the change of business registration of the legal representative of the company on January 13, 2021, and the legal representative of the company was changed from Li Shufu to Li Donghui and received a new Business License.
Due to the reason of personnel adjustment, Geely Holding decided to appoint Sun Hong, Zhou Jianqun, Xu Zhihao and Wang Xinggui as directors of the Company.
In addition, Li Shufu, the former chairman and general manager of the company, no longer holds the position of general manager of the company, but still holds the position of chairman of the company; Li Donghui is appointed as director and general manager of the company.

According to his resume, Li Donghui is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Geely Holdings. Li Donghui joined Geely Holdings in April 2011 as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Geely Holdings; he has been a director of Geely Holdings since November 2011 and a global director of Volvo Cars since April 2012.
Li Donghui served as an executive director of Geely Automobile from May 2011 to April 2014; executive vice president and chief financial officer of Geely Holdings from June 2016; executive director and vice chairman of the board of Geely Automobile from July 2016; and chief executive officer of Geely Holdings from November 2020.
The announcement also said that Li Donghui had participated in and led the completion of major M&A projects such as London Taxi, Proton Cars, Lutus Motors, Saxo Bank alone and Volvo Group, and played an important role in the strategic integration after the M&A.
In addition, Sun Hong joined Geely in March 2014 as Vice President of Geely Holdings, in charge of legal affairs, compliance and information security; Zhou Jianqun joined Geely Holdings in 2014 and is now CEO of Geely New Energy Commercial Vehicle; Xu Zhihao is now CEO of Geely Technology, Chairman of Qianjiang Motorcycle and Independent Director of Gujing Gongjiu; Wang Xinggui has been Vice Chairman of Geely Talent Development Group since April 2020.
After the personnel adjustment, the latest board of directors of Geely Holdings includes eight members including Li Shufu, Yang Jian, Sun Hong, Li Donghui, Wang Xinggui, An Congwei, Zhou Jianqun and Xu Zhihao, with four new members including Zhou Jianqun, Sun Hong, Xu Zhihao and Wang Xinggui added to the board of directors list before the change, while the remaining members remain unchanged.
