In response to election fraud in key states, the Trump team continued to file multiple lawsuits this week to hold those involved accountable.
On Monday (Nov. 9), U.S. Attorney General William Barr authorized federal prosecutors to investigate numerous allegations of voting irregularities. Barr stressed that the Justice Department’s investigation will be “fair, neutral and nonpartisan” and will take serious allegations seriously.
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said he supports Trump’s legal fight against election fraud. Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp tweeted that the state’s election results will include only legitimate ballots.
At the same time, more fraudulent tactics were revealed, with several key state workers testifying that they were told to backdate their ballots and not to verify voters’ signatures. Several scrutineers disclosed numerous irregularities, including peeking into envelopes, inducing voters to vote for Biden, and scrutineers being turned away from the ballot box.
According to the United States of America’s electoral vote system, presidential candidates need to get half of the electoral votes (270 votes) to be elected president; states must resolve election disputes before December 8, including a recount and on the results of the court debate; December 14, the states elected electoral college to determine the final presidential election results.
In the face of some “mainstream media” unilaterally claiming a Biden victory and discrediting the Trump administration’s contribution to vaccines, truthful media outlets such as Epoch and New Tang Dynasty were praised by viewers.
The New Tang Dynasty’s broadcast of “Why the Chinese Communist Party Hasn’t Congratulated Biden Yet” was well received, with many viewers praising such “honest and responsible” media at this point in history. As James O’Keefe, the independent investigative journalist who exposed the fraudulent Michigan and Pennsylvania post offices, said, “This is a time for courageous action that will test the human soul.
Here is a live update on the status of the U.S. election.
Trump tweets: we will win
President Trump tweeted on the morning of Nov. 10, “We are making great progress and results will begin to appear next week. Make America Great Again!”
He was confident of winning the election saying, “We’re going to win!”
The margin is just under 0.45% Arizona or recount.
According to the latest unofficial results, President Trump is gradually catching up with the vote totals in Arizona and is now less than 1 percent apart from Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden. Under state law, if the gap between the two candidates’ final tallies is less than 1 percent, an automatic recount will be conducted.
As of Monday night, Trump had garnered 1.63 million votes and Biden had 1.64 million votes, a 0.45 percent gap between the two.
Trump’s campaign predicts that President Trump will end up winning Arizona, which has 11 electoral votes, as he did in 2016.
Pence: all legal votes counted before election is over
Vice President Mike Pence said Monday that the presidential election is not over until all legitimate votes have been counted.
He tweeted that it’s not over yet, adding that President Donald Trump “never stopped fighting for us and we will continue to fight until every legitimate vote is counted!”
This is the first time Pence has spoken publicly since many in the so-called “mainstream media” unilaterally declared Democratic candidate Joe Biden the winner, expressing the same view as the rest of the Trump administration that there may have been fraud in the 2020 election and that it’s too early for Biden to call himself the winner.
Graham: 25,000 votes from nursing homes in Pennsylvania.
U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham, chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, said Monday that 25,000 ballots could come from nursing homes in Pennsylvania.
Graham revealed that these ballots are suspicious, “What is the probability that 25,000 (seniors) of the same age will ask to vote at the same time in different locations?” He asked.
He also told critics who have accused President Trump of disavowing the charges so far, “We don’t need their permission to investigate these allegations. If we don’t deal with the 2020 mail-in ballot, we (Republicans) will never win the White House again.”
Biden’s bizarre tweet: ‘I’m not president yet, everyone wears masks’
Biden tweeted on Nov. 9, “Wait until Jan. 20 before I’m president, but the message I want to send today is that everyone wears a mask.” Outside commentary on this message is confusing.
Biden’s recent frequency of gaffes is well known, and last Saturday he once again incorrectly claimed that 230 million people in the U.S. had died of Communist Pneumonia (COVID-19) during a public speech.
On November 7, Biden gave what he called a public “victory speech”. But he made another slip of the tongue in full view of the public. In order to exaggerate the seriousness of the epidemic in the United States, and to blame the disaster caused by the epidemic all on Trump, Biden said, “I hope it (referring to the data of the current election) can give the 230 million people who lost their loved ones this year due to the terrible virus ……”, he suddenly realized that he had said the wrong thing! The numbers, so quickly changed to “more than 230,000 families bring some comfort and solace.”
Maricopa County, Arizona vote count: Trump leads by 140 votes
According to information provided by ABC15’s data analyst Garret Archer, the results are in for Maricopa County, Arizona, and President Trump has a 140 vote lead over Biden, so President Trump won Maricopa County and is now only 14,746 votes away from Biden in Arizona.
In Arizona, there are still about 76,000-78,000 votes that need to be counted. So President Trump’s chances of winning the state’s vote are still very good.
Michigan Legislature in emergency overnight session to summon election officials
The Michigan Legislature met in emergency session Saturday night (11) to subpoena state election officials to turn over documents related to the election, and they will further investigate possible election misconduct, according to the Detroit Free Press.
The report said that it was highly unusual for the state legislature to hold an emergency session on Saturday night, and even more unusual for the Judiciary Committee to issue a subpoena. Although Michigan’s governor is a Democrat, both the state Senate and House have Republican majorities.
House spokesman Lee Chatfield issued a statement saying that every legal vote must be recorded and that the candidate who wins the majority is the true winner in Michigan, as has been the case in every election all along, without change. The sanctity of American democracy is guaranteed by a safe election. That’s why the Senate and House of Representatives will soon hold hearings to investigate the election and the vote counting process so that everyone can be confident in the outcome and so that future elections will be smoother.
Election Chaos Two Joe State Senators Call for Secretary of State’s Resignation
Georgia’s two federal senators, Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue, said Monday (Nov. 9) that the state’s election process lacks transparency, and they called for Republican Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger to resign from office.
“The administration of elections in Georgia has become an embarrassment to our state. Georgians are prepared to be outraged, and rightfully so,” In a joint statement, they wrote, “We have been clear from the beginning: every legal ballot should be counted, no illegal ballot should be counted, and the counting process must be transparent and consistent.”
“There have been too many electoral failures in Georgia this year, and the recent election has shown the nation what is at stake. Of course there are others who need to be held accountable, but the responsibility ultimately rests with the Secretary of State. The Secretary of State’s mismanagement and lack of transparency is unacceptable. Honest elections are essential to the foundation of our democracy.” They wrote.
Trump team Pennsylvania sues to block confirmation of election results
On Monday, the Trump campaign filed a lawsuit in a Pennsylvania federal court seeking an emergency order that would prevent officials from certifying Biden’s victory in the state.
Matthew Morgan, Trump’s campaign lawyer, said, “Voters in Pennsylvania vote differently, and we believe that this election system leads to votes being counted without proper verification or oversight, and that the counting may be fraudulent.”
He told a news conference in Washington, D.C., that Republicans were treated unfairly in Pennsylvania’s election process, and that Republican poll watchers were unable to observe the counting of mail-in ballots up close. He gave the example of more than 682,000 mail-in ballots being counted in Philadelphia and Allegheny County, but they kept Republican poll watchers away during the counting process.
Kawakami’s team also said voters who voted in person and by mail were treated differently – some voters who voted by mail were allowed to fix technicalities such as signatures – and that the distinction violated the U.S. Constitution.
Ten U.S. state attorneys general back Team Trump in battle against Pennsylvania election fraud
On Monday, ten Republican U.S. attorneys general announced that they are filing an opinion with the federal Supreme Court in support of a Republican lawsuit against Pennsylvania Secretary of State Kathy Boockvar and asking the federal Supreme Court to overturn a ruling that extended the deadline for mail-in ballots.
Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt filed the brief on behalf of the state. He said Monday (Nov. 9) that the Pennsylvania court’s decision to extend the date for mail-in ballots rewrites the law and infringes on the legislature’s rights.
The Pennsylvania Supreme Court on Sept. 17 extended the state’s deadline for mail-in ballots to be included in the count, even without a clear postmark, as long as the ballots were mailed within three days of Election Day.
The attorneys general have argued that the Pennsylvania court’s ruling violates the separation of powers doctrine and already violates the U.S. Constitution. The ruling also increases the risk of election fraud associated with absentee ballots.
