The Biden (Joe Biden) administration and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) require people to wear masks on all public transportation, an order that took effect Jan. 2. The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) further introduced new rules requiring passengers to wear masks at airports, passenger planes, bus and train stations, and other public transportation. Those who refuse to wear a mask will be fined $250 for the first Time, and repeat offenders may be fined up to $1,500.

Some airlines currently require passengers to wear a mask on board or risk being denied boarding. With the announcement of the new rules, anyone who disrupts a flight by refusing to wear a mask will also be controlled and fined.
