Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) said the Republican Party is Trump‘s and ‘it doesn’t belong to anybody,’ according to the Daily Caller.
Georgia Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene said Friday that the Republican Party belongs solely to former President Trump, the report said.
Greene said Trump received a record number of votes from Americans and Republicans “because they like his policies” and what he stands for.
“They like his fight, they like that this Time we have a president who defends America, who defends corporate America, who remembers the forgotten,” Greene said.
“He’s a president who doesn’t care about the color of your skin because God made us all equal, and thank God our Constitution affirms that.”
“He’s a president who wants it for everybody, and that’s why we support him, and that’s why I’ve always supported him. When I tell you Republican voters still support him, the Republican Party is his, it belongs to no one,” Green said.
“I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America; to the Republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”
The House voted 230-199 Thursday to remove Greene from the House Education and Budget Committee.
Greene has repeatedly insisted that Trump is the winner of the 2020 election and has expressed support for multiple arguments, including that QAnon and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton secured New York’s Senate seat by plotting to kill John F. Kennedy Jr.
