Reuters reports that a Cuban military helicopter crashed on the 29th. According to the Cuban military, a helicopter flying from Holguin to Guantanamo crashed en route, killing all five people on board.
A statement from the military said the helicopter crashed into a “hill”, killing the five people on board, and a committee has been set up to investigate the cause of the accident.
