Since Biden‘s inauguration as U.S. president on Jan. 20, the far-left group Antifa has taken to the streets again, vandalizing and looting. On Saturday (Jan. 23), riots also broke out in Tacoma, Washington, where a police car was mobbed and rammed through a crowd. The move triggered Antifa to retaliate, vowing to destroy the entire city.

According to the Tacoma Police Department, the department received a call at 6:19 p.m. Saturday about a traffic jam at the intersection of 9th Street and Pacific Avenue in the south, with at least 100 people gathered at the scene. Police then rushed to the scene to clear the area.

According to a police statement, one of the police cars was surrounded and struck by a group of onlookers as officers tried to get pedestrians off the street. The police officer in the car fled by crashing through the crowd out of fear for his personal safety.

As seen in the video uploaded by netizens, more than a dozen people were hit by the police car, and one of them was run over by the police car.

That night, more than 100 Antifa militants reappeared on the streets of Tacoma, vowing to “destroy the city” in some kind of revenge.

According to video footage from the scene, the Antifa members set fire to public property and beat bystanders in the middle of the street, smashing the windows and doors of more than 10 stores along the way and vandalizing private cars parked on the side of the road, bringing the city’s transportation system to a standstill once again.

Tacoma police have declared the protest an “unlawful assembly”.
