“The U.S. should cut ties with the Chinese Communist regime.”

Gorden Chang, a China expert widely known for his book “The Coming Collapse of China,” recently said that the challenge of the Communist regime exists and that the United States should cut ties with it.

“The leaders of the Chinese Communist Party are both arrogant and untrustworthy. And in my view, that’s the worst collection of humanity. So what should we do about it?” Mr. Chapter said in an online webinar held by the Middle East Studies Association in Florida, “It seems to me that we are in a crisis and we need to cut ties with the Chinese Communist regime.”

The Chinese Communist regime is unreformable

Mr. Zhang explained that cutting ties is more than just decoupling. To decouple, or to end the dependency of the U.S. supply chain, is the view of most people now. But he believes the U.S. government should move factories back from China, end technology partnerships, cut off cultural exchanges, get CCP diplomats and journalists out of the U.S., get CCP newspapers off (U.S.) newsstands, get CCP cable stations off U.S. airwaves, and so on.

“Yes, it does sound overreaching, but we are really at a crisis point.” Mr. Zhang continued, “The Chinese Communist Party is using every link it has with our country to try to subvert our government. And we are being overwhelmed. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and law enforcement in the United States are overwhelmed, as are the federal and state governments.”

FBI Director Christopher Wray said in July 2020 that the FBI opens a new counterintelligence case related to the Chinese Communist Party about every 10 hours. Nearly half of the nearly 5,000 espionage cases the FBI is currently investigating across the United States are related to the Communist Party of China.

“China’s form of communism is unreformable.” Mr. Zhang added, “Now we’ve reached a critical point. So for us, a shift (in thinking) in the entire U.S. government and, indeed, in the entire U.S. society must begin now.”

Before coming to this conclusion, Gordon Zhang first addressed three topics. The first was the spread of the virus by the Chinese Communist Party, the second was the subversion of the U.S. government by the Chinese Communist Party, and the third was the Communist Party’s descent into militarism.

The U.S. government must demand reparations from the Chinese Communist Party for causing the virus pandemic

“The deception about the contagiousness of the virus, forcing other countries to accept entrants from China, downplaying the seriousness of the Epidemic. All of this shows us that this is a virus deliberately released by the Chinese Communist Party itself.” Zhang Jiadun said.

Zhang noted that Chinese Communist ruler Xi Jinping blockaded Wuhan and surrounding cities, knowing that this would effectively stop the pandemic. “So that means (Xi Jinping) must have known that by pressuring countries not to implement pandemic precautions (as a consequence), he was deliberately spreading the virus.”

Zhang Jiadun went on to say that the U.S. government must demand compensation from the Chinese Communist Party.

“This is by no means the last virus that the Chinese Communist Party has created. That’s why we have to build up protection. And we have reason to suspect that the next virus from China will be more virulent than the CCP virus (New Coronavirus).”

According to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), there have now been more than 400,000 U.S. deaths caused by the CCP virus pandemic.

Zhang Jiadun also noted that the 2017 issue of Military Strategic Science, the leading journal of China’s National Defense University, discusses how to create a new form of biological warfare that employs “race-specific genetic (viral) attacks.”

“So, yes, the Chinese Communist Party is breeding a new virus that will leave the Chinese alone, but will infect all the rest of the world.” According to Mr. Zhang, “And there is evidence that they are actually working on such a virus.”

Subverting America

Xi launched an information war against the United States in the first week of February 2020, Zhang said. “One of these offensives culminated on March 12, when we saw the Chinese (Communist Party) Foreign Ministry conduct an information warfare offensive on Twitter.”

Zhang Jiadun said Chinese Communist Party Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian suggested the virus started in the United States and that it was brought to Wuhan by the U.S. military (participating in the 2019 World Military Games).

“The U.S. CDC was spotlighted. When was patient zero found? How many people were infected? …… It’s possible that the U.S. military brought the virus to Wuhan.” CCP Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian tweeted on March 12, 2020, insinuating that the U.S. CDC had covered up the true number of CCP virus infections.

Zhang Jiadun went on to say that Beijing has also been smearing and disinforming on social media or through text messages, attacking the U.S. president and creating chaos in the United States.

TikTok, a very popular video-sharing application, uses sophisticated algorithms to keep people hooked and sends videos to Americans to incite protests, Zhang said.

“Armed with this manipulative power, Beijing can, as they say, push its messages and rumors. In other words, lull Americans into doing what they want.”

Mr. Zhang noted that an intelligence unit of the Chinese Communist Party military actually based itself inside the Houston consulate, according to a Radio Free Asia report. The Chinese Communist Party consulate in Houston was ordered closed by the Trump administration in July 2020.

“From there, they [the Chinese Communist Party] used big data and artificial intelligence to identify Americans who were likely to participate in the ‘Black Lives Matter’ (BLM) movement and the ‘Antifa’ protests. Then that Chinese Communist Party intelligence force sends them videos of how to riot, and they learn to do that through TikTok videos.” Zhang Jiadun said.

“It’s not just subversion. This is indeed an act of war.” Zhang added.

Zhang also referred to an unconfirmed report that Mandarin-speaking protesters were apparently coordinating their actions as they burned St. John’s Episcopal Church, a block from the White House.

Chinese Communist Party militarism

Zhang Jiadun said the Chinese Communist Party’s media outlet People’s Daily published an article in May 2019 declaring a “people’s war” against the United States.

“This means that the Chinese Communist government’s challenge to us is real.” Zhang Jiadun said.

Mr. Zhang noted that the United States is trying to preserve the existing international order and rules. Beijing, however, presents the U.S. as trying to protect supremacy in the international arena and prevent the legitimate rise of China.

“Unfortunately, the Chinese communist state is a country that does not want to abide by the existing international rules and order.” Zhang Jiadun went on to say, “It wants to completely change the existing international rules.”

Zhang said the Chinese Communist Party is implementing a so-called “War Wolf” foreign policy. Under this foreign policy, Xi Jinping has threatened to invade Taiwan, provoke countries in the waters around Taiwan, and invade India, killing 21 Indian soldiers.

“Of course, we all know that it has been quick to strip Hong Kong of its autonomy.”

According to Zhang, Xi came to power because he was “the candidate who had to be accepted.” He realized he needed a political base, and he decided the military could be the backbone of his support. “So Xi could end up running the country with the military.”

According to Zhang Jiadun, the CCP is engaging in military expansion because it has a number of domestic problems, such as a depleted environment, a lack of popular acceptance, a lack of support and allies internationally, and a stagnant economy.

“Without economic prosperity, the only basis of legitimacy left for the ‘Communist Party’ is nationalism.” Zhang Jiadun went on to say, “Nationalism, as a pragmatic banner, means military adventures abroad.”

“So Xi Jinping, the CCP leader in full power, has a low threshold for risk-taking, which means he has the will to dare to do things that would be unimaginable and logical for us.” He said.

Conclusion

“Sensibly, we should not allow our enemies to exploit the openness of our system to subvert our government.” Gordon Chang concluded.

Chapter also expressed some concern at the Time about the Biden administration’s foreign policy toward China. He said senior advisers to incoming President Joe Biden “have said that they don’t want to impose tariffs on Chinese products, and on the other hand they want to make America stronger.”

“But my view is that for the Biden team, you can’t advance U.S. technology or the economy when China (the Chinese Communist Party) is stealing $500 billion to $600 billion worth of U.S. high-tech and data information every year. It’s impossible.”

In a December 2020 op-ed, former Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe noted that the Chinese Communist Party’s intellectual property theft costs the U.S. as much as $500 billion a year.

“It’s enormous, and politically speaking, it’s unacceptable in our country. It is inevitable that if this continues, we will face a tragic downfall.” Zhang Jiadun continued.

“But you see, you are dealing with a Third Reich (note: Germany, ruled by the Nazi Party between 1933 and 1945) type of country. The question is, how do you deal with someone like Hitler? You know the Chinese Communist Party is committing Crimes Against Humanity, worse than the mass genocide committed by the Third Reich in 1941.” He said.

In response to a question about the Chinese Communist Party’s policy toward the Uighurs, Zhang said the concentration camps, genocide and forced organ harvesting of Uighurs were “worse than the mass genocide committed by the Third Reich in 1941.”

According to some medical experts and independent investigations, Falun Gong practitioners are the main source of forcibly harvested organs.

“We are dealing with the devil. People in democratic societies have a hard time understanding these evil acts, and there is no perfect way to deal with evil. Our approach to dealing with evil may fail, but we better deal with it while we still have a chance.” Zhang Jiadun said.
