Domain name antifa.com follows Biden all the way to the White House website redirected

Netizens found that the domain name antifa.com was redirected to the official website of the White House. This is a screenshot of the White House website.

Antifa, a far-left group in the United States, is known for its violent demonstrations. A website with the domain name “antifa.com” was found to have redirected to Biden‘s campaign website, and then to the White House website as Biden took office. But since anyone can buy a domain name and perform similar operations, it has not been proven that the domain name is related to Biden’s team.
Biden entered the White House on Jan. 20. The following day, some users found that the domain name antifa.com had been redirected to the official White House website. In other words, if you visit the domain name antifa.com with a web browser, you will immediately be redirected to the White House website whitehouse.gov.

The Biden team responded to the U.S. media that the incident had nothing to do with them.

In June last year, then-President Trump accused Antifa of being a “terrorist organization”.

This is not the first Time the domain name antifa.com has been found to redirect to the Biden team. Before the election, antifa.com was also redirected to Biden’s campaign website for a long time, causing public concern.

The so-called “fact-checking” website set up by the Shanghai University published the results of a search in early September last year, saying that the domain name antifa.com had existed since 2002 and that the domain’s registrar was located in Arizona, but the registrant’s information was protected by privacy settings and could not be checked.

After the Black Lives Matter (BLM) riots in the United States in May 2020, the domain name once displayed content related to Antifa, but began to redirect to other websites in June. Starting in August, the redirected URL began to switch back and forth between the Biden campaign website (joebiden.com), the Kamalaharris campaign website (kamalaharris.org), and the pro-Antifa website (itsgoingdown.org).

It wasn’t until after the U.S. election day on November 3 that other users noticed that the antifa.com domain was redirected to a donation page at joebiden.com.

On November 17 last year, a user posted a video showing that the antifa.com domain was redirected to the donations page of joebiden.com. (Web screenshot)
On September 1 last year, the Biden campaign tweeted that the redirection of the antifa.com domain name to the Biden campaign website might be “the work of a political opponent” and claimed that the domain name “had been registered in the name of a Russian registrant”.
