The National Archives reported Wednesday that police asked the Portland Antifa to please stop vandalizing the Democratic Party headquarters on the day of Biden‘s inauguration.
At one point, the report said, a police officer was heard pleading, “Stop vandalizing the Democratic Party headquarters in Portland, Oregon.”
Multiple videos show Antifa members destroying windows at the local Democratic Party headquarters, and more videos show police calmly asking them to stop the vandalism. The video was shot on Jan. 20, when Democrats were ostensibly supposed to be celebrating taking back the White House.
In one video, members of the Antifa group are seen breaking windows at the Oregon Democratic Party headquarters, leaving graffiti, including slurs, on the few windows and on the walls.
At one point, a police officer is heard pleading, “Stop vandalizing the Democratic Party headquarters in Portland, Oregon.”
In a second video, they issue a notice to protesters that they will be “subject to the use of force” and arrest for vandalizing the Democratic Party headquarters.
The ongoing violence, which appears to be much worse than the violence that occurred in Washington, D.C., on Jan. 6, forced Portland police to issue a statement.
“To the people gathered near the Portland headquarters of the Oregon Democratic Party.” Members of this group have been observed vandalizing the building,” the statement said, “and anyone involved in criminal behavior …… are subject to arrest or citation.”
It is unclear what Antifa may protest on Jan. 20, when Democrats will complete their political stranglehold on the federal government, according to the report.
Since this article was originally published, more graffiti has appeared, with “**Biden” prominently painted on one of the few intact windows near the entrance.
Many experts previously claimed that pro-Trump groups were organizing widespread violence across the United States in response to Biden’s inauguration. While this has not materialized, it now appears that violence organized by Antifa may be mainstreamed .
