The northeast region of the mainland is once again the hardest hit by a new round of indigenous Chinese communist virus outbreaks. Officials in Heilongjiang province alone have reported nearly 200 confirmed cases. Many places in the province have upgraded their control measures and people have been grounded. Jilin Province recently reported more confirmed cases in a single day than Hebei Province, where the outbreak has been severe recently. Jilin Province has shut down dance halls, baths, bars and other venues.
Officials in Heilongjiang informed that 16 new cases were confirmed in the province on January 19.
As of January 19, the number of confirmed cases in Heilongjiang had reached 188, starting with eight cases of asymptomatic infection in Wangkui County, Suihua City, reported by the Heilongjiang health Commission on January 10.
The Communist Party’s official figures have traditionally been severely shrunk, so it is believed that the real epidemic is much more serious than what has been reported.
