Xi Jinping backwards check 20 years in one move, three gains 2 new changes in the officialdom

The US-China trade war, the Wuhan pneumonia outbreak, and the US sanctions against Chinese and Hong Kong officials have not stopped Xi Jinping from carrying out severe “rectification” of the Chinese Communist Party, such as the education and rectification of the political and legal system, resulting in two new changes in the Chinese Communist Party: more and more retired officials are surrendering voluntarily and falling off the horse.

The ongoing trade war between China and the United States and the spread of the Wuhan pneumonia outbreak to the world have led to a difficult situation for China’s socio-economic development. Xi Jinping, a second-generation Red Chinese, is a master of power struggles and has used his “anti-corruption” campaign to crack down on his political opponents, deter Chinese Communist Party officials, and continue to further consolidate his position of power within the Party.

Officials Surrendering on Their Own Initiative Becomes the Norm

Recently, official media have been releasing “anti-corruption” reports and feature films, all emphasizing the Xi Jinping-led Beijing authorities’ crackdown on official corruption, resulting in buzzwords such as “20 years of reverse investigation,” the law on political punishment, and voluntary surrender. It has become a new norm for officials in the Communist Party, whether they are under Chinese control or provincial control, to surrender voluntarily.

Looking back at the records of the fall of Chinese officials, the first person to voluntarily surrender as a provincial minister is Qin Guangrong, a former provincial party secretary from Yunnan, a “corruption-hit area” on par with Sichuan and Shanxi. The Yunnan Discipline Inspection Commission has also recently launched a series of feature films criticizing and exposing the inner workings of Qin Guangrong’s corruption to deter those officials who are submissive, opportunists with mischievous intentions and those with connections hidden behind the scenes that have not yet been exposed.
