A 20-year-old Thai fisherman, Chalermchai Mahapan, recently found a 7-kilogram lump on the beach, which was found to be the secretions from a whale’s mouth, with a market value of 210,000 pounds (about $290,000).
The British Daily Mail (Daily Mail) reported that Mahapan went fishing at sea that day and stopped his boat early to go ashore due to poor weather.
