New York Governor Andrew Cuomo has set up three layers of security around the state capitol in Albany to prevent so-called “riots,” but so far, only police and reporters have been present near the Capitol.
According to local media, the Democrat and Chronicle, New York authorities have set up a barricade around the state Capitol in Albany, and the steps in front of the building have been blocked off with a three-tier fence. Authorities claim that this is to prevent a repeat of the January 6 “storming of the Capitol”.
However, for several days, except for the police and journalists, the area of the State Assembly has remained quiet, and no one has been seen to stay.
The Jan. 6 “storming of the Capitol” incident is highly suspect. There are videos of Capitol police initially “actively” letting protesters into the Capitol, as well as Antifa and Black Lives Matter (BLM) members posing as “Trump supporters” to break into the Capitol. However, some Democrats have tried to link the pro-Trump rallies with “riots” and “terrorist activities” in an attempt to suppress Trump supporters.
Last Monday (11), the Associated Press quoted the FBI’s internal announcement that from January 16 to January 20, “there will be armed protests” in all 50 state capitals and the capital, Washington, D.C., and that “more bloodshed and terror will be incited.
Earlier this month, one of the largest militia coalitions in the United States announced that 15,000 people would be drafted to Washington on January 16 for “armed counterinsurgency” (capture of traitors). But the statement said that if less than 15,000 people are called up by then, the operation will be canceled and there will be no other activities. The statement also did not mention the organization of armed operations in other states. The statement has now been deleted.
Recently, a red flyer was posted on social media claiming that an armed march would be held in Washington, D.C., on Jan. 17, but the name of the organizer was not listed on the flyer. The Gateway Pundit, a conservative website, said the flyer was of dubious origin and content, and could be a conspiracy. On Twitter and other social media, some Trump supporters have also warned each other not to participate easily to prevent falling into the trap.
