In comprehensive news, a recent cross-country poll shows that people in various countries are less trusting of vaccines from China or Russia.
According to Reuters, the poll, released Friday by polling firm YouGov, showed that people in the United Kingdom and Denmark have the highest willingness to accept the new crown vaccine, while the French and Poles are more hesitant. The acceptance rate in Britain was 73 percent and in Denmark it was 70 percent.
Less than half of respondents in the United States were willing to get the new crown vaccine.
Meanwhile, respondents had more trust in vaccines developed in Germany and the United States, and less trust in vaccines from China or Russia.
But Chinese official media Xinhua reported last Thursday that several countries and regions have approved the registration of the Chinese New Crown vaccine for marketing or emergency use. Healthcare workers across Turkey began receiving the Chinese vaccine on Jan. 14.
