U.S. media outlet Breitbart News reported on Jan. 16 that violent Democrats dream of violence and far-left actor Alec Baldwin claimed he dreamed of President Trump being hanged.
In the outrageous tweet, Alec Baldwin said, “I dreamt that Trump was on trial for sedition.” “Outside the court building, a noose hangs from a makeshift scaffold, the noose made of recycled Wuhan virus masks.”
Baldwin’s post was sent from the Twitter account of the Hilaria and Alec Baldwin Foundation, which has one million followers.
Baldwin’s dark message succeeded in inflaming his followers. One Twitter user said, “That’s a beautiful dream.” Another replied, “That’s what we dream about.” Still another said, “Sometimes dreams do come true.”
But not everyone found Baldwin’s “dream” interesting. One Twitter user thought, “If this is your dream, then you need help!” Another said, “You’re sick.”
Still others wondered how such comments were tolerated. Manny Alicandro, a Brooklyn-born attorney, asked, “How come no one reported this nutcase to the FBI and Secret Service?”
Baldwin’s tweet is not the first time he has made extreme statements about President Trump and his supporters. Earlier this month, Baldwin called for the brutal torture of Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas). Last December, Baldwin offered to retaliate with several acts of violence if President Trump refused to budge. Last November, Baldwin called for President Trump to be buried in a Nazi cemetery with a cross placed on it. In early September, Baldwin called President Trump a “fascist whore” and called for him to be “removed from our lives.
Baldwin’s criticism is not limited to the president and other conservative political figures. Last August, Baldwin said that the people who attended the Republican National Convention and the Americans who spoke at it were high on drugs, and he claimed that people who voted for President Trump in the election were mentally ill.
Despite Twitter’s policy of banning posts and shutting down accounts to suppress speech that incites violence and defamation, yet these violent speech posts by Baldwin have never been censored by Twitter.
