Republican Party “Lincoln Project” sponsor “Trump Black” Weaver’s moral turpitude was revealed

According to the New York Post, John Weaver, co-sponsor of The Lincoln Project, a Republican super PAC to stop President Trump‘s re-election, confessed that he sent “inappropriate” sexual messages to dozens of young men, and that he came out as gay when he was married with two children.

The report said that at least 24 men on social media accused Weaver of sending them unsolicited sexual messages, including employment opportunities and political privileges in exchange for sex, and one of them claimed to have had sex with Weaver without getting half the benefits he promised.

In a statement sent to the U.S. news site Axios on 15 May, Weaver said he spoke about the “inappropriate” sexual messages he sent to young men, calling himself gay. I’m gay,” he said. I have a wife and two children that I love. But my inability to reconcile those two facts has led to this pain.”

Weaver, who served as a high-profile political staffer on the late senior Republican Sen. John McCain’s 2008 White House bid, has shifted his focus to leading the so-called “Never Trump” movement since Trump entered the Republican Party.

The “Lincoln Project” was built by several prominent Republicans and former Republicans in late 2019, with the main goal of preventing Trump from being re-elected in the 2020 election, and “backbone” support after the Democratic Party announced the candidacy of Representative Biden.

After the sex newsletter scandal broke, Weaver said he took a medical leave of absence from the Lincoln Project last summer and that he would not return to the organization.
