Video set: Washington, D.C., has become Baghdad. Access is controlled, bridges are closed, red and green zones are designated

On Saturday, The Gateway Pundit said in its report that Washington, D.C. became a military zone like Baghdad. Divided into green zones, red zones, military checkpoints in and out of downtown Washington and bridges into the city will be closed.

In the days leading up to Biden’s inauguration, our nation’s capital has been transformed into an occupied military zone like Baghdad, the report said. Armed forces authorized to use lethal force stood guard at checkpoints into and out of downtown Washington, D.C., and Green Zone and Red Zone borders were established. Several bridges into the city from neighboring Virginia are scheduled to be closed next week .

In the report, Sean Spicer, President Trump‘s first press secretary and current Newsmax TV host, posted a video apparently shot Friday night showing a military checkpoint leaving Washington near the Lincoln Memorial. The video also shows cars parked in a line blocking the road on 16th Street near K Street. Check out Spicer’s Newsmax co-host Lyndsay Keith’s daytime coverage of the scene at 16th and K streets first.

Another report on checkpoints leaving Washington, “A friend just called me from his car in Washington, D.C. He was giving his wife a ride to her office in the Northwest. They had to go through an armed checkpoint to get into the city! On the way out of the city, he had to stop at another armed checkpoint. He was asked to show his ID. “

Here is video of the drive through the checkpoint manned by the guard force.

A builder posted this video early Friday morning.

Four major bridges in and out of D.C. from Virginia will be closed for 48 hours before and after the inauguration. The two bridges from Virginia to D.C. that are not set to close are the Key Bridge from Rosslyn to Georgetown, the Chain Bridge near the Palisades from McLean to Canal Road .

The Secret Service released a detailed list Thursday of streets blocked off by military checkpoints and divided into green and red zones. “Green Zone – A vehicle restricted area where vehicle access is restricted to residents or businesses within the restricted area and National Guard personnel will assist in verifying vehicles entering the Green Zone.” “Red Zone – Street Closure , where vehicles may only be passed by authorized vehicles and require the appropriate vehicle license plate.”

Passengers flying into Washington, D.C., will undergo additional screening “Flights into Washington, D.C., will undergo additional security screening: I just boarded a flight from LaGuardia Airport (LaGuardia) to Washington, D.C. At the gate, a Transportation Security Administration (TSA) agent double-checked all passengers’ IDs against their boarding passes. The Homeland Security officer stood by the gate with a dog and said, “Yes, this is for the inauguration.”

In addition, airlines prohibit the check-in of firearms on flights to Washington area airports.
