Biden’s revitalization plan fails to reverse market pessimism U.S. stocks close in the black

U.S. stocks closed in the black today, in the last week of the Trump administration, despite the launch of President-elect Joe Biden’s massive economic revitalization plan, but failed to reverse Wall Street’s pessimistic mood.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average ended down 177.26 points, or 0.57%, to close at 30,814.26 points; the S&P 500 index fell 27.29 points, or 0.72%, to close at 3,768.25 points.

Technology-based Nasdaq index fell 114.134 points, or 0.87%, to close at 12998.504 points.
